the most annoying enemy

what enemy in video games annoys you the most? For me its probably the 'grunts' in half-life and half-life 2.

the first alien things you see from resistance fall of man mostly because the AI is smart and they dodge your bullets but taht gets realy annoying

You talking about those small little bastards that come at you at like 100 or so at a time? I found those things more annoying then the flood in Halo. But as per the same, Shotgun is a hella useful weapon against them.

Anywho, I’d say the Ruby Weapon from FF7 takes the cake for me. Unless you KO two of your characters before fighting it, he sucks them both up in a quicksand, forcing you to fight it one on one. To top it off he can’t be hurt by anything until he stabs his hands into the ground, making it 3 on 1... unless as I said you KO your characters so you can revive then later on. To make matters worse though, if you use the strongest attack in the game he counters with another powerful attack that can KO all of your party... Damn annoying fighting this one it is...

The Wavebeam enemies off of Metroid Prime. The purple Space Pirates.

Are you talking about Halo 1 or 2? I don’t really remember Halo 2’s flood....but the flood on Halo 1 are easy.....except on legendary.
