The Next Legend of Zelda Game: Story Speculation

Yeah I didn’t directly Mention that whole deal with Ganondorf being stabbed did I? I was really tired and getting sleepy when I finished it up and forgot about that fact. But also think though that there have been a couple of games where someone (usually Twinrova) try to bring Ganondorf back to life. It could be a possiblity MAYBE that in the next one it could still take place inbetween Twilight and WindWaker and if Ganondorf wasn’t sent to the Twilight Realm again, then maybe someone finally did revive him to full strength.

Here are my speculations on the subject of the next Wii Zelda game, please excuse the length:

The theory is, as has been stated, that since he isn’t holding the sword, and the way this blue character is drawn, that she may be a personification of the master sword. This would explain why Miyamoto said that this Zelda would be unlike any other. Shigeru Miyamoto stated that: “Well, the story setting for this Zelda is, of course, in a completely different era and Link is older than he was previously. More approaching adulthood." This sounds pretty important, considering that he is with someone who looks to be a personification of the master sword...Perhaps this new Zelda is taking place in a time when the master sword is being forged to defeat a new (to the story) or old evil. The fact that link is an older version of the twilight princess Link shows that it could in fact be a direct sequel, and for this to be true, perhaps he traveled back in time to save the past from something evil, and to do so he must help in the creation of the master sword, by bringing this fairy/ sword girl somewhere, so that she can transform into the great blade. this would greatly emphasize the lack of sword, and explain the “completely different era” statement. This would also bring a villain into the story (whether he be an old villain, or a new one), and bring back the forever loved concept of the Hero of Time.

Cool Speculation dude, that there could also make a lot of since with the time traveling and everything.

i would assume the sequel to twilight princess nintendo makes two games for each link and then goes to the next ocarina of time and majoras mask four swords and minish cap wind waker and phantom hour glass

Well unless Myamoto says different than Nintendo of America, there apparently is NO timeline to the Zelda games. But hey it’s still cool to think there is.

here is my plot:
zant realizing that he is a hopeless loser and has nowhere to go resurrects ganondorf, who then promptly kills him for his previous act of treason. so then gannon gos looking for someone who knows how to defeat link, since that is now his main priority. he comes to an understanding of the mirror world paradox theory (don’t ask) and discovers what dark link (mirror link, oot) actually is, an alternate version of link that exists in the twilight realm. so gannon remakes the mirror of twilight and finds shadow (twilight, mirror, whatever) and they form an ultimate evil duo and lure link to them. and they pretty much beat the crap out of him. but before they kill him link separates his triforce of courage into however many shards (ww) and he dies. the goddesses realizing that their hero was defeated use their ace in the hole, flood the world. (huge reference to Nohas arc by, the way can’t believe u guys missed that). then far away in the sacred realm, shade link (undead dude from tp) or as he should be known as, links father (link, i am your father. nooooooo. srry couldn’t resist.) or original link (watch link, er, ah thing at top. confusing) discovers that his son has died, and pleads with the goddesses for one last shot at revenge on the forces of evil so that he can finally die in a blaze of glory. they grant him this wish and loan him the ultimate weapon the fourth triforce (wait.... what the heck, tri=three, but four. hhhhhhmmmmmmm, wait i got it, the center triforce , u know the one in the very middle.) the triforce of the gods aka the triforce of life. this gives shade link back a more human appearance of Oni link (come on he had to come back sooner or later, what with all his fans) who then proceeds to beat the crap out of all gannons top generals to find out where he is so he can avenge his son. (last gen. is shadow link: “i remember you, you’re the one that gave me life from the water” come on there has to be a dramatic mid big boss fight, and shadow link needs a starting line.) then takes on gannon wins and seals him away leading to ww. Now somewhere in the middle he eventually meets up with the skullkid, (if you want my awesome skull kid theory just ask.),who also wants to avenge links death (goes down fighting shadow link. didn’t you ever wonder why hes not in ww) because he ows him for what happened in MM, with the help of talt and tae.(see how nicely i just messed up the perfect time line)but i do have to say out side of parenthesis that i am 99.9% sure that every skullkid throughout the series is the same just at a different lvl of understanding (ok so u didn’t have to ask). awsome right and it fits that really good time line (well almost).

going back and reading my last post (holy crap now its there forever, completely un-edit-able) the game would happen during the storm that flooded hyrule (so it makes it a lot like the part of tp where you have to take the half dead minda to zelda, except with less depressing music and maybe a werewolf ability like in tp. imagine that fierce deity wolf, talk about epic) and maybe partially in termina. and the fact that my plot doesn’t quite match up with with the time line, let me say this: my version of the time line is very similar, but i, being all scientifical and junk, came up with the idea that maybe link warped throught time to much and created a huge paradox/grandfather paradox effect. meaning that every link is the same link and every links father is every other links son.
confusing right. but it makes sense. if you really think it over for a few hours.
P.s:about that music, if anyone who reads this has a contact in Nintendo and they want this idea its all theirs as long as they use some music by Goukisan, like the betrayals and illusion. awesome music.

Just to help a bit with the timeline, from what I’ve seen, OOT is the prequel to Link to the Past, and TP is a sequel to all of them. MM is the direct sequel to OOT, taking place just a little bit after OOT where, at the beginning, Link is trying to find Navi (idk why though. She was really annoying). Then 100 years later is LttP then another hundred or so years later is TP, OR TP is a sort of remake of LttP if you think about it a bit, in that in both there is a dark realm, and in both the Master Sword is somehow hidden in a forest. Of course there is no Midna in LttP but the reason for adding her in TP could be improved console power and etc. There is also the possibility that after OOT/MM the timeline splits, thus forming LttP in one, and TP in another. Then it later splits again somewhere after TP. All this being said, I think it would be cool to have a story that takes place between OOT/MM and TP or LttP and TP depending on how the timeline thing works out.

i think it will be betwen majoras mask and twilight princess because maybe the link from ocarina of time future is the same one as the one from tp
