this stemmed from something i didn’t mean to do, but just happened..

THis is to help others reach 20, add input please!
I’ve managed to touch the twenties with this, and two buds of mine hit 30 actually, legit, so

This is my FIRST ever guide,

{ forgive the MS Paint maps, you should still be able to use them to focus gunfire...}

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — -

FOr levels 1-3, use either pistol, KNIFEs, or rifles ..headshots are easier to g ofor...if you can, use your knife as muc has possible, zombies take fewer hits to kill with knives early on.

AFter that, it’s rifles , and hopefully headshots, up until 4-6...THat’s when the Help door gets opened, and the hunt for good weapons begins at the mystery box

what you want to eventually end up with, for weapons, are the Ray Gun, and some sort of machine gun. there are two main machine guns, the MG42 and the Browning ...these and the Ray GUn are the tools to survival

Flamethrowers lose effectiveness from rounds 12-ish onwards, and trench guns and shotguns seem lose their effective stopping power laer on...not to mention the fire rate isn’t enough to hold the swarms at bay later on

continue taking out the swarms, Mainly holding out in the help room and main room, until lvl 11, or SO.......

Once you get a decent amount of weapons ,or it seems the zombies are managing to make several breaks to chase players( or a lot of revives are occuring, respectively), it’s time to head upstairs via the stairs in the help room

there’s actually 2 choices you have, when going upstairs, to make your main holdout..
— — — — — — — - — — — — — — — -
DISCLAIMER:
these were my first ever made maps with MS Paint, please don’t make fun of them. A person has to start somewhere.....
— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

1. {UPSTAIRS FLOOR , THE PART ABOVE MAIN ROOM}

take positions by the CORNER where you can buy grenades, and try to set 3 guys facing the entrance door(a chokepoint)(the stairs next to you on the right should be CLOSED) and ONE in the window to your RIGHT, who attempts the 'LEAVE 1 zombie left' trick i’ll explain, and takes out other zombies he sees trying to enter the door, or window
— — — — — —

2. {upstairs floor, the part ABOVE THE HELP ROOM}

take positions in the corner opposite the stairs ,and have 3 GUYS get into the LEFT back hallway, facing straight ahead from the back, with the 1 Other person at the window to the RIGHT..doing the 'one zombie lef trick' when possible, and mainly stopping swarms from coming through the window, and providing support fire when possible.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — -

THE 'one zombie left trick',

This is the safest way to gain enough time to fix all the windows ,and give your teammates and yourself all the time you’ll need to get to the mystery box in between levels of zombies.

In either of the two positions, one person will be near a window...

They must leave alive one of the zombies attempting to get through the window by fixing the window as the zombie attempts to strip away the wood. You should never let the window open, in any case, but destroying all, but one zombie(the one you’re holding at the window) ; this allows the rest of the team to run downstairs to try the mystery box, and to fix all the windows for points.

When everyone is finished with this, then one of your teammates should come to you, and takes over holding off the zombie, allowing YOU the chance to get to the Mystery box for weapons.

When everyone is ready, with the best weapons they could get, and the windows fixed, then you can knife or kill the last zombie, and the next level will begin, with your team fully ready for the fresh waves of incoming zombies.

USe this trick after each level, if possible; it will allwo you to avoid low-ammo problems.

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

when defendng oen of the two positions, have the 3 main defenders alert eachother to when they are reloading,so an instance when everyone is reloading at the same time doesn’t occur, allowing the zombies a chance to rush your team because no one is supressing them.

— — — — — — — — -
IMPORTANT: COMMUNICATE with the team...it’s VITAL...

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — -
POWERUPS...

AMmo’s are VITAL, always fight for them...you NEED them to survive,

Bombs buy valuable time, these are highly useful later on ,and recommended at every chance

2X Points....decen in helping you gain points, not worth risking life in a mad dash over though,

INSTA-KILL...allows you to save ammo, by single shots, and knifing zombies, useful,

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — -

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — -
IF someone somehow, on purpose or accidentaly,
OPENS ALL DOORS, you are by all means still in the game with a decent chance....

(and if you can, refrain from ranting at the perso nwho did it, because they might have a different strategy,)

the important thing to do in this scenario, is to have your team move to the #2 spot if they are not already there ; this gives you the best chance of staying alive through the levels, because the #1 spot will be compromised by the open staircase
— — — — — — — — — — —
— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —
At times, i have hade teammates who purposely open all doors and stairs, and camp the #2spot
, allowing them to sucessfully still holdout against the zombie onslaught.
— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — -

-
I hope my first guide helps you, if you have recommendations, please don’t hesitate to contact me, whenther you woudl liek to comment, [b[add advice[/b]ombies sometime, tell me, and we can exchance gamertags( this is PS3 , that i play it on)

Truly and
— — — — -Sincerely , the Tippership Commander grin

half of why, is i am nervous....having never done somethign of this sort....
(although i use gamefaqs HEAVILY for many game guides)

..the other half , is ....i don’t think my guide is complete...

It helped one more friend of mine get to level 26........and he could have gone farther if he hadn’t timed out....

Me? personally, i havent gotte na good team...

but.....i AM wanting to put it there....but, idk if it’s ready....

Funny, TODAY...someone asked me to do zombies, following THIS exact guide.....they said they’d searched for NAZI ZOmbies guide, saw mine, and got past 10 for the first time, then, made 16 the next..

Just a quick question that is sort of off topic. How do you counter Banzai attacks? On my Wii is says to shake the Wii remote when there about to kill you but it does not work. Are you supposed to do this before you get knocked down or after you get knocked down?

Good guide, but glitching is easier if you haven’t been patched yet.

Yeah, at higher levels they get too tough for one hit kills, at level 30 I can unload a clip from a carbine right between their eyes and they won’t go down.

Nazi Zombies 1 - Nacht der Untoten Moderate to Expert Player Strategy Guide.

Solo and Teams

The Invictus Strategy

I have been playing Nazi Zombies for a long time and I like to think i have figured out the best methods to this game. I was extremely surprised when playing on-line that no one seems to know how to play or listen to directions, the point of this post is to inform experienced players on methods to better maximize your points-per-round(PPR) in earlier rounds and how to survive more efficiently in later rounds. This is not for novice players who have never played the game, you can easily discover the mechanics of the game by simply playing it a few times or reading novice guides.

Start off by letting the zombies come through the windows, do not kill them outside for the first few rounds, it is pointless because when the zombies are killed inside they can drop bonuses, like double points, instant kill, full ammo, and bombs. With these early rounds the only ones you need to be picking up are double points and full ammo. Instant kill and the bomb are counter-productive in these early rounds trust me, I will explain later. Also this allows you to repair the windows giving you extra points.

Once the zombie is inside shoot it with your pistol 6 times in the chest, this will not kill it but will give you 60 points, 10 per shot. Do not finish it off with the pistol because a gun kill is only worth 60 points, after shooting it 6 times knife it for the kill, a knife kill will give you 130 points. This means that every single zombie in the beginning rounds will give you 190 points. Picking up bombs and instant kills will kill the zombies too fast and prevent you from getting the most points possible. They are useless in these rounds because there is no real threat of death ithis early in the game.

At the end of round 2 a solo player should have over 3000 points (with team play you must be organized and take turns per kill to achieve this). DO NOT CLEAR THE STAIRS IN THIS ROOM. This is enough to open the “HELP” door and use the random box twice. For god sakes never buy an overpriced s**ty ass gun off the wall, the random box is your best friend. Never pick up guns with explosives (panzershreck or rifle mounted grenade launchers) they do not have enough ammo and more times than none you will end up getting cornered and kill your dumb ass self with it.

With your new guns continue killing zombies until the round has one zombie left, if it is a slow zombie leave it alone, if it is a runner hit it with a grenade to blow it’s legs off to make it slow. Once this is done it will give you plenty of time between rounds to repair all the windows (while avoiding the crippled zombie) and use the random box. You will need to repeat this step until you receive the Ray Gun and the MG-42. I have found this to be the best combo but it is debatable. the Ray Gun is necessary because a two machine gun combo will eventually become too hard in later rounds because one will always need to be reloaded. The rounds from each gun will not kill all the zombies in later rounds and the reload time is too slow. Some people argue that the Browning M1919 is a better choice because it has more armor penetration and damage than the MG-42 but I find that it had a much slower reload time and the iron sight on this gun will create a large blind spot at a critical window in the final position. Also the MG-42 has the perfect recoil for head-shots, this will become very important later.

You should most likely have the Ray Gun MG-42 combo by round 10, if not earlier (This may not be so with team play of 4 players), but you can continue to leave one zombie alive and walk it around while your team mates use the random box. Anyway, at this time if not earlier you will need to clear the stairs in the help room to the up stairs.

**********************THIS IS WHERE THE REAL STRATEGY STARTS****************************

When you are upstairs there is a room with one window, these (the way you came in and the window) are the only 2 ways zombies can enter this room.

As a single player you will need to stand with your back to the back of the wall where the grenade satchel can be bought. The zombies will run in a straight line at you. You will need to be constantly throwing grenades, turning around to buy more and keep throwing. You will be making enough points to never have to worry about spending too much on grenades. With a little practice this can be done very quickly and efficiently. I tend to move my left thumb over to the right analogue stick to do this on xbox, but it’s up to you. Remember, you do not need to do a full turn and face the satchel to buy them, this will save some time. Use the Ray gun to kill the zombies that get through the grenade barrage, and do not forget about the zombies that are crawling and always keep one eye on the window to your right. The only time you will need to pull out the MG-42 is when the zombies are getting too close to you. If a zombie is close do not risk shooting it with the Ray gun, it’s spread damage CAN HIT YOU and will kill you. I have been killed by my own Ray Gun more times than by zombies. With the MG-42 try to aim at shoulder level, the recoil of the gun will get a lot of head-shots and this will save much needed ammo. Always leave the last zombie alive and repair everything. This seems tedious but it spreads the zombies out so they do not all come at once, believe me, it helps. Always pick up bonuses but do not risk getting them if it is too dangerous. With a little luck and skill you should easily get to at least round 25 alone.

Now for teams. This requires organization and communication, I recommend all players being in the same room for friends, or if online wear a headset. I normally play with a team of four and each man is designated a job.

***Grenaders - You will need two members of your team to take this role. They need to both be constantly buying and throwing grenades at the doorway from the back of the room. They will need to get a system where 1 player throws 4 grenades and while turning to buy more the other throws 4, and so on. This takes some practice but when done correctly creates a constant explosion for the zombies to run through killing nearly half. If someone gets hurt by a zombie and needs revived they BOTH need to go revive the person, one will revive the player while the other covers the two occupied men. If you send one you will just have two players to revive.

***Window Man - This guy stands in front of the window to the right of the room and kills any zombie that tries to enter while also keeping the window repaired. He must also always keep one of his guns unused and fully reloaded. This is important because he will need to be switching places with the point man when the point man needs to reload, at this point he will switch to a fresh gun and take up the point man’s job until the point man is ready.

***Point Man - This needs to be your most skilled player because he has the most important job. He will stand next to the piece of wall that sticks out in front of the window to the right of the room. No one goes up to, near, or in front of this man because if they do the zombies will follow the other players instead of going in a straight line to the point man. He will be killing any and all zombies that are not killed by grenades. A few seconds before he needs to reload he will call this out and the window man will take his place for this short amount of time, while reloading he will keep an eye on the window, then call out when he is done and they will switch places again.

If everyone knows their job things should go smoothly, the last thing you need is for one person to mess up their job and create a panic turning this into a clusterf*** of zombies and ray gun rounds flying around till everyone dies. I hope this guide helps you to maximize your potential in the game and reach higher rounds. If you have any questions just post on this forum or add me on xbox live Gamertag: InvictusIV

Enjoy,

Invictus IV

Yes, despite this being old, i am still around

Invictus did pot something similar. It seems every player nowadays does the same things around a theme.
