ok, here is my view on it. no, mp:3 isn’t the best game ever. i think twilight princes may well be better. the significant thing about mp:3 is the fact that not only is it the first fps (like) game to use the wii’s controls well, it is, in my opinion, the first game to use the wii how it is meant to be used. because of all this, its amazingly and fundamentally fun and addicting, just as the wii itself is. all that being said, i think that halo will be a better game. prime may take it on one player, but halo has something prime does not: online multi-player. i can’t wait to try that out. so, i think that the controls and such probably are better, but halo 3 takes (or more, will take) the cake.

dude, the wii controls for that game were tacked on at the last minute. no one in the right mind would deny that. i’m saying the controls for this game feel polished, they feel like they were meant to be. it feels like what a game should feel like on the wii. this is the first game that i really got that feeling for.

ug, closing comment thing, i don’t think i have ever left my feet while playing the wii. i have hardly stood up while playing mp:3.
k, thats all, now i’m gone.
Yea the only time I stand to play the Wii is when I’m playing Wii Sports. I mean for Wii Sports it’s easier to get into the action more with standing up.
But I can’t remember any other games that I actually got up. I think I did get up though to sword duel in Red Steel. That’s probably it.
When they say Wii is a console that gets you off the couch they are referring to Wii Sports and really no other game. But you must understand the mass market part of Wii is Wii Sports. Thus when mainstream writest articles they are specifically referring to Wii Sports and making it as the show off title for their articles. Not to mention it is the premier title on the Wii even though some might disagree with that.
As a single player adventure I think it will. Lets at least compare it on the aspects that it compares too. I really don’t know if Halo 3 will be better. I think Halo 3 will be better with critical ratings cause MP3 is getting some reviews that are pretty unfair. Notably Gamespot.
it’s gona be the same as halo 2 was to prime 2 prime has better strategy halo has better action (although metroid did get a boost in action) which one has the better story and is more amusing is opinion, althoug hagain metroid has aspects halo wil never have yo ucan get more into the game....cause you actually have to move for some of the weapons (grapple lasso)
I think it is better already, not because I am more of a Metroid fan but mainly because way too much overhypeness kind of makes the game look sorry for itself and it kind of turns me away. Sure it will be a very good game one of the best this generation but to have a countdown event? That kind of says too much and just shows that bungie is trying to show off its cash cow. I mean it will be a good game but showing it off in a festival matter like it is some kind of reincarnation of some god? Yeah that really kills the hype for me. This is my most anticpated game for the 360 and like most other people I would want to see the ending to a great triolgy. But when a game is way overhyped and way overrated it makes a game look sorry on itself saying, “I am so good you must buy me because I am better then the rest only pay attention to me there is nothing better then me," when in reality there are games that can offer more. As far as now Halo 3 is offering great multiplayer, custom options, and new game strigitys but it still lacks the innovation of new games coming out, I mean look at bioshock a great game for its new kind of look on the FPS genre, rather then just go around activating switches and shooting guys down you get to bluid your own character so it has an action RPG twist to it.

k, i gtg watch some play thing...c-ya.
The extra controls weren’t needed. They were an extra. Not all Wii games need to take control of the Wii’s motion sensing.

Zucas this is gamespot we are talking about they are a very baised site. I’d stick to IGN anyday few reviews are crap but most are exactly or nearly accurate. I would say MP3 should have gotten a 9.6 or 9.7 because it was better then the second but not as revolutionary as the first but still very innovative and the best in the series.
8.5??? yeah they are graphic whores which is unfair considering that the wii isnt as powerful as the 360, Ps3, and since MP3 has no multiplayer i guess they hated that...

alright the clans are back!!!! Lets revive the game section!
Keep in mind the wii surpise in september may be a downloadable multiplayer extra for Metroid Prime 3, but there is a very slim chance of that but it is still possible.
Yet as of now there are high possiblites for Metroid Dread and a Metroid Prime Hunters 2 in the near future. Both games are inevtitable because:
1. Sooner or Later Nintendo will make a Metroid 5
by continuing the main story
2. MPH was a succuessful game and it gave them the chance to make a first good multiplayer Metroid game after the first experimental one in MP2E. So the next one they make will be more balenced and have more features. Plus most likey the single player would be an actual metroid game. So for that reason they would not stop on just one successful multiplayer metroid game, this is nintendo we are talking about they try to expand their franchises in many ways while keeping them to their roots so in this case keep it in the multiplayer releam but still have it like prime’s core gameplay was which made MPH successful so there is no dbout that this will come out.
