Sequels aren’t bad things but where are the new IPs?

i have bplayed A LOT of shitty sequels

all the new IP’s came last year.

the only sequel im looking foward to is Gears of War 2

Well blame the buyers. New IPs are a huge risk and normally don’t sell well because majority of buyers buy by brand. Thus sequels are a more logical decision and people buy it in masses. Then of course the New IPs that do sell are so similar to the existing series that its hardly right to call them new. But they are less risky as well. It’s something brought upon by the consumers so it’s our fault.
