I am basing this topic off of your opinion not sales, so all I want to hear is what you like better not what all the world likes better.....
Thx
360’s HD DVD Movies- 0
PS3’s Blue Ray Movies- 9
I am for Blue Ray what do you like better
(Note I relize that this thread should go in the Movies section but I wanted to hear strictly from the gamers point of view on whats better....360’s HD DVD movies or PS3’s Blue Ray Movies)
HD looks better, but Bluray holds up more content.
For each consoles I guess the Bluray is very rewarding, because the graphic difference between a game on HD and Bluray is almost unnoticeable (leaning towards the HD on looks) but they get an extra 20GB or so in storeage, so its better to have Bluray.
As for the DVD’s itself, I rather have a HD-DVD, simply beause you won’t have a movie that takes up 50GB. Any movie fits perfectly on a HD-DVD and looks slightly better too.

Blue-ray defilently especialy on the PS3 it even looks better on the PS3
actually facts show taht HD-DVD looks better but Blu-ray has a larger library. Plus the level of detail on a blu-ray player is the same as it is on a PS3.

No I saw a blue-ray player and a blu-ray player on my PS3 it looks so much better on a PS3

i’d rather listen to actual ppl’s opinion not someone who praises Ps3 and thinks it makes 360 look liek N64 ty .
And from all teh reviews it’s teh exact same thing (detail wise).

actually HD-DVD Looks Bttr, they both have internet acces, Blu-Ray has wider selection.
Winner = blu-ray
hddvd only looked better because it had better players. and ive heard that the 360 hd dvd player has some issues or it doesnt have too good a quality, and that the ps3 is comparable to top blu ray players

Well let’s look at it this way. The Blu ray and HD dvd use almost the exact same technology. The main difference is the amount of content stored in one disk. Obviously Blu ray can hold more, but why would you need 50 gigs to store a movie on a disk? I’d say for an HD movie 10 gigs should be enough (correct me if I’m wrong). Plus, HD is cheaper. About 300 bucks cheaper.
