What Is The Scariest Game Of All Time?

ok in love of the survival/horror genre of games i want to find out what everyones favourite scary game is.

i guess i will start by saying the scariest games i have played are:
1)Doom3
2)The suffering
3)FEAR

DooM 3 and F.E.A.R. are freakin scary. Haven’t played the suffering, though...

cool ya doom3 is so scary because of where you are and who you are fighting but fear is scary because it messes with your head...and that damn girl is freaky!

the suffering is a few years old and it takes place in a person...its scary!

Fear by far, that game messes up your mind. That girl is scary, I am just gald that you can get revenge on her by kicking her in the head near the end of the game. Payback is great, but even when you think you have gotten away in this game, right at the end, she just has to be there.

I am not a great gamer but, personally, the most scary games I tried (not recently):

1) Alien Vs Predator, single player
2) Phastasmagoria

oh and yes Doom 3 is a bit scary as well

I’m mostly into psychological horror, ie. I loved Blair Witch Project...

but yeah. Phantasmagoria, Silent Hill, Condemned..

fatal frame 1 & 2 and Silent hill 1. those are THE scariest games ever!

yea I’m going with Carl it’s definetly Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem.

In quake 4, god when you get to the later levels things look so messed up.

ive definatly herd it and seen gameplay but i just cant remember it. im very sure it made me wet my pants :O

None of those, I think Sadness will be the scariest game of all time because not only do you not have any weapons, but you’ll feel like your in the game.
