whats the difference on wii having standard composit cables and component cables

is it worth me paying 60 bucks for the official nintendo cords or 40 bucks on a mad catz thing that also includes the yellow cord, and is it worth it for the goodness of progressive scan?

REally doesn’t matter. I mean I dont' think buying the offbrand here will hurt you at all but save ya some money. But your call.

And if you have progressive Scan or HDTV it does make a difference from what I hear.

well its just that on my 4:3 tv when playing the the smoother 60 hz mode its got anoying noise that crawls down the screen, and its even worse on my widescreen tv(not hd) but its alright at 50 hz but 50 hz is slightly jaggy and it puts ya off when playing tenis
