Where are you supposed to take broken Micrsoft consoles?

I need to take it in but I have no idea where and I do not want to mail it in.

This is why you buy your consoles at stores that allow you to take it directly to them and replace it there.

But if you didn’t buy it at one of these stores, then i think you HAVE to mail it.

What the fuck? I bought the damned thing at Wal-mart? Gamestop charges you for this shit? This is an inconvenience. I don’t have the means to mail the entire thing off to Micrsoft. If any of my other consoles break down those companies better not make it any more inconvenient for me. All I want to do is play my consoles.

Walmart will refund your money. But you have to have the recipe from the purchase.

Damnit! But it’s been about half a year. A refund isn’t going to happen. *Sigh* Where do I mail it to and how exactly do I mail it? Do I keep everything on the hdd? I don’t want somebody messing with my account. Will Gamestop pay less for a broken 360?

If you get an Elite or whatever, buy it from Best-Buy and buy the 20$ warranty, it lasts a year and they will replace it free of charge, no questions asked.

Yeah, for now on I’ll only buying games and portable consoles from Wal-mart. This is flat out bullshit. Wal-mart, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo. It’s all bullshit.

Lie to them. Tell them you received the console as a gift about 2 weeks ago. Show them the recipe and tell them that you parents bought it a while back as a birthday gift and you just got it.

They’ll believe anything. I did the same thing with my PS2, which my brother bought about 3 years before I took it back.

You call MS, ask them what you need to do to get your 360 fixed.

Ask them if you can keep your HDD and just send the 360 to be fixed, but it would prob be best if you send both if you don’t know which is broken.

They should send you a box that you put your 360 in, after that you just send it back.

Make sure you ask them plenty of questions so you get a good idea of what they will do to your 360.

if your worried about your saves ask them if they can keep them intact when they fix everything, or if they give you a new HDD ask them if they can transfer the saves to that one.

The way I look at it, Walmart’s done enough evil stuff. We should get revenge. If I didn’t buy my PSP from EB Games I would do that and get a $199 refund so I could bye the PSP Slim.
