Good list but in my opinion GTA should not be there, with all the rip off games made to be like it and the crap that was made after vice city it has always been the same and it has never changed. GTA just died in my opinion because it lost its legendary status with all the rip offs and it fell after that the gameplay has always been the same and it never changed, they recently relased liberty city stories on the PS2 and it sucked so much. SA killed it for me I played vice city at my friend animes house when he had a PS2 and when he rented SA we played it a bit and it sucked so much for us because the missions we tried were almost the exact same thing as vice city and it just killed it for us.
The game series that I would say that are legendary are
Nintendo
1. Tie Mario and Zelda- both are the two oldest and first legendary game series
2. Metroid Prime- Nintendo’s best FPS
3. SSB- A fighting game all nintendo fans and nintendo haters should like, what better game is there to let you kick the crap out of luigi?
4. Tie Pokemon- While it may be for a younger crowd the game is pure fun and with all the little kids playing it many do not know the full exent to the straigty for this game most older people who play it know that you need to choose the right guys and moves for each one you have- I use my firered version in XD gale or Darkness and I fight my friends in it.
Fire emblem- A great Straigty and RPG game.
5. StarFox- While there are only 5 games in the series, Starfox, Starfox 64, and Command all have great gameplay and worthness to be part of the nintendo elite in my opinion. Assult was adverage but still good.
6. Donkey Kong- He is a monkey that wears a tie what more is there to say?
7.F-Zero- A great racing game that has always been challgening.
Microsoft
1. Halo- Duh it is a great first person shooter.
2. Gears of War- It is a killer game for the Xbox360
3. Fable- A great RPG where you can do whatever you want.
4. Ninja Gaiden- You can play as a ninja!
There are more i just cannot think of any off the bat.
Sony
1. God of war- basiclly the only thing I like on the PS2
2. SOTC- It is famous with many other people but I only put it there because it is famous but in my opinion it is adverage because there are no other foes in the game aside from the collasci.
