For the same reason a rationalist laughs at thiests...Samus, like god is imaginary. As far as fawning over real women, thats simple. No matter how small the chance, even a billion to one chance, there is still that one in a billion shot it will happen....Can’t say the same for fictional characters...Personally I try to only oogle women that are attainable....Fellas its not that difficult to get a decent looking chick...
