Okay I found this very interesting, some have argued over ODST with its $60 price tag, others for the fact that little is new aside from the campaign, firefight, and 3 new maps.
Some were dissapointed with the campaign being very short and others about some gameplay resrictions that were removed from halo 3.
I was mainly content it with, the gameplay was solid and did give a nice co-op experience. It took a page from Halo 1’s old shield/life system, halo 2’s hijacking, and halo 3’s heavy weapon wielding. Only real omits from the game were the dual wielding function and using equipment. Plus being smaller, a little slower, jumping not as high(but still well enough), and melee could only hurt not stun brutes like grunts, jackals, and drones. Anyways here is a valid a article on why ODST can serve as an important model for the gaming industry and shut up those who complain and worry about it becoming a fleshed out Mario, Madden, Sonic, Tony Hawk Franchise, and more related to a Zelda type franchise by which every game is crafted with its own feel and unique experience.
