Well, there is the Play-Yan adaptor for the Gameboy Advance that stores and plays MPEG-4 videos and MP3 music from SD memory cards that you can use for DS, since DS plays GBA cartidges. And there is also the MAX Media Player which features a removable 4GB hard drive to accompany a software media player. The add-on is similar to the 4GB hard drive released for the PSP. And the DS cartidges last a lot longer than the UMD’s. Cartidges last longer, and are more durable. Imagine this, put a DS cartidge and a UMD in between two metal slabs and leave them there for 10 or more years. The UMD would have scratches all over it and would be rendered useless while the cartidge would have no damage to it, the most that could happen is some dust getting into it, which you can just blow all of it out in 2 seconds.

However, Nintendo has really messed up (time and time again) by using cartridges. __________________ “We can’t solve problems using the same thinking we used when we created them." - Albert Einstein

Well Truegamer, it is actually cheaper to buy a Nintendo DS and the MAX media player and Opera Browser than just the PSP alone, so you have pretty much all the PSP features in the DS except cheaper (except for the PSP features that no one even uses). And why are you comparing the PS3 to Nintendo DS? Of course the screen will be bigger with PS3 because you will be forced to use an HDTV. And I never said you have to actually wait ten years, I was just trying to prove how much more durable DS cartidges are than UMDs.
And I know your in your 20’s, but you really don’t act like it. Instead of endlessly argueing with you I will be the first one that states that I respect yours and everyone’s opinion so we don’t have to go into another pointless arguement. __________________ Join “The Zeitgeist Movement”

weeman, ur just as dumb as the last time i was here! psp is waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy cooler than DS, the only reason that the ds is outselling it is cuz of the huge price difference between the 2, every1 i know thinks psp is much cooler than ds, but 250 bux is damn expensive 4 a portable so they just settle w/ the cheaper 1
after you blow off 250$ on shit well the games SUCK ASS!! just get a damn gamescreen for your ps2. ds has wifi built not a “playstation base” or whatever the hell it is called. DS still is more popular then psp so F*%k you im stupid Guest ramunematt wrote:

How is it cheaper than a $200 PSP? the 4gb hard drive is a little more than $200 alone! __________________

No, the PSP’s screen IS 16:9. Standard widescreen aspect ratio. __________________

No it’s not, you can get the MAX media player for under $100, and a Nintendo DS, that equals about $200.00, less if you get a cheaper MAX media player. You can manage to get MAX Media Player for even less and get a DS Lite and still be cheaper than a $200 PSP. __________________ Join “The Zeitgeist Movement”

Truegamer obviously you were missing the point, he wasn’t trying to point out size of the PSP screen, he was saying how fragile it is. And believe me it is fragile, some Sony fanboy at my school got a PSP and it got scratches on it literally the first day he brought it in, not to mention the dead pixels it had when he opened it from the box. __________________ Join “The Zeitgeist Movement”

It IS better. __________________

You know wut else you could do, go to target and buy a $50 portable DVD player that plays MP3s also. does that mean thats better than the DS? __________________
