It’s old news. They unveiled it at E3, If you would have seen the demonstration, you wouldn’t think it as a Wii rip-off.
It is actually a whole lot better than the Wii controls anyway.

And just how is it not a rip off? It stole the motion idea as well as the shape and has a similar button scheme. I seriously doubt it would be better than the Wiimote.

I am fairly certain that that picture he used up there is a fake. If you would have seen what they were using at E3, you would know that that picture is a fake.

I am fairly certain that that picture he used up there is a fake. If you would have seen what they were using at E3, you would know that that picture is a fake.
Exactly, the original had round tip and only one button, like a wand or a steilngrenade (those sticky grenades from CoD 5). It also changed color, which is neat.
This isn’t Sony’s. This is a third party accessory maker’s peripheral for PS3. More than likely it’ll never come to any form of use because it won’t gain enough developer support.
And yes it is a Wii-ripoff and done on purpose. But Sony has nothing to do with this. Let’s not immediately jump to personal biases to justify our answers hmm.
