This really is a no brainer, I’m just making this so PS3 Fan will shut up about it. Okay, so here is the Wii remote:

'Fusion' is seperately bought for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, it will only have a selected amount of games and will need a seperately bought controller for every single one of them. The Wii remote has already proven itself, has the Nintendo seal of quality on it, is used for every Wii game and has a cool nunchuck for some of them, has rumble, gets up to 60 hours of battery life with only two AA batteries, and is STANDARD for every game. This thread is simply to prove PS3 Fan wrong so lets get started.

Hey news flash paid nimrod, The Wii uses Triaxial accelerometers for motion tracking, thats a faster way to get the same result than waiting for ultrasonic waves(most time consuming part, speed of sound is very slow compared to speed of wi fi transmission), calculating their position through triangulation, and then waiting for the information to be sent to the machine via wifi.
Fusion
Wait for ultrasonic signal
Triangulate position
Wait for Ultrasonic signal
Triangulate position
Calculate difference in 2 positions
calculate acceleration
Calculate direction
Send signal to console
Wii
Accelerometer instantly detects direction, acceleration, distance, rotation
Send signal to console.

Actually no. Just 2 companies had similar ideas at the same time. The wiimote has been in production since 2002 and has been in technological works since nintendo bought Giration. So yea just 2 companies having similar ideas.

The entire public doesn’t have to try the Wii remote for it to be proven. It has been proven at E3 2006 and Nintendo’s 3 days event. And the Nintendo seal means you get quality.

thats irrelevent. they were both under wraps while the other one was being created, thus there is no way for nintendo to know that ms was going to make that or vise versa, so who came up with it first means nothing.
We all know the Wii remote wins, I made this thread because whenever Nintendo fans start talking about how excited they are for Wii launch PS3 Fan comes in and copy and paste that stupid article about 'Fusion' over again and then this whole arguements starts up.

Yeah well that doesn’t tell me what I want to know. Ramunematt’s description of the 'Fusion' was less than spectacular and I refuse to look up anything.
