wii sales vs ps3 sales (in north america)

ps3 has sold over 1.1 million consoles in NA
the wii has sold about 1.5 million consoles in NA

so is the ps3 really doing that bad?

yeah but the ps3 is only out in NA and its doing well there, if they had released enough consoles world wide it wuld be selling jst as many overal as the wii, so i dnt see why people are saying the ps3 is doing really crap, they cant keep up the demand for the next gen console compared to the wii which is practically a gamecube with motion sensing

PS3 has not sold 1.1 million in North America. According to VGCharts it has only sold 800,000. The Wii has sold 1.3 million. This is as of the end of 2006. That’s what we’re going off of.

The PS3 passed a million a while ago. According to the newest issue of GI not enough PS3’s are being shipped.

Yea it’s hard to challenge me on sales. I know them all to well.

I wish NPD would make their sales charts easier to get, 'cause they sound pretty reliable to me. If a place can get their charts for the highest selling games for any month in a magazine like EGM, than I assume they’re pretty trustworthy.

Everybody can shut it because the PS2 outsold all the new gen consoles last year’s holiday season.

PS2 and PS3, completely different things as far as sales. PS2 sold well because it was cheap.
