Wii vs 360 Who has the advantage?

ok, so the real battle is about to begin with nintendo’s deployment of prime 3 ssbb mario galaxy re umbrella chronicles etc
and microsoft’s deployment of halo 3, bioshock and others i don’t remember

so now that nintendo’s near surpasing the 360 the war is bout the games


i my self i’m a xbox purist and nintendo lover
so i vote nintendo

i didn’t iclude the ps3 cuz it’s lame sales cannot and won’t reach the wii nor the 360 sales

Ninty WILL pass the 360, and won’t get reached, to say the PS3 will EVER reach it is being in denial. As you can see all the effect the price drop had has faded, and sales are back like they used to.

I just want to get a 360 now lol, games coming out for it look too good lol.

Metroid assassin- the ps3 still has a chance but it cannot be seen right now because of how good the others are doing. Wii i think is beating the 360 right now, sales wise, and with lots of hardware problems ( i know they are almost fixed) people turn toward a more durable console [that being wii].

Yes, Halo 3 is somehow magically destroying itself, and it’s the only good game on the 360 is Halo 3, lets all ignore the dozens of other excellent games.

*slaps* wake up man. halo 3 hurts xbox. we all know that the xbox has loads of huge great games, right? well, no one can see past halo. its so big that people become convinced that its the only good game for the xbox. i mean, it sales plenty of systems, but i think it almost hurts more then it helps. i guess yes, a game can be to good. lol.

Um just throwing this out there but 360 has never been competition for the Wii. I’m not trying to be bias at all but I’m just saying the only reason the Wii is passing up the 360 so late is because of a year’s headstart and lack of shipments. Otherwise Wii is about to leave 360 in the dust. It’s not a competition between them 2. 360 has no worldly appeal. Only appeals strongly in America. With Wii having strong worldly appeal and larger sales in America then you can see what it’s coming at.

So for the rest of the generation its just best to look at the 360 as a console with good games. Kinda like how we viewed the N64 except N64 had a lot better games. Once again no bias just opinion.

Right now how I like to tell people how the generation is going is this. 360 can’t get 1st place and Wii can’t get last place. 360 will either get 2nd or 3rd. Wii will either get 1st or 2nd. PS3 could get any. Leaving only a few situations left:

Wii, PS3, 360
Wii, 360, PS3
PS3, Wii, 360

Those are the possible situations left. As you can tell Wii has the best chance of getting first while 360 has the best chance of getting last. PS3 has a chance at all but ultimately cause the other 2 have higher chances elsewhere gives it the highest chance at 2nd place.

That’s simply going off simple thought process of scenarios. 360 can’t win because it isn’t supply to one half of the market and that’s where you can get that thought out of. Wii can’t lose cause it’s selling at such a fast pace that even if it were to start dying out it’d still put up high numbers. This is why I say PS3’s chances are slimming everyday but those are the ways on how this generation could end.

I think with Xbox you could be correct in saying that the only successful series was Halo 1 and 2. But with 360 there are a lot of other games that are not only successful but good as well. Mostly due to MS getting the big games from the PC and getting them carried over to 360 as well. Bet I know how that happened but ain’t saying.

And of course releasing early and getting that early dev support for some pretty exclusives.

Actually it goes from the home console to the pc. A serious amount of the games coming out for 360 soon seriously outclass the wii’s games. The ps3 games are going to get better so hopefully it gets the recognition it deserves.

We may see the wii sales go even further because:

1. People like to jump on the band wagon.

2. Some 3rd party developers want to sign on because of wii sales.

well the wii has got a better fall line up but halo 3 should increase ms earnings
