I wish there was a little more originality put into the title... but they said they were tryign to give this kinda shooter to the Wii audience... which the console doesn’t have. I’m getting it because I need another online shooter for the Wii haha. Already conquered MOHH2.

Gun model looks superb. Nice shader effects there.
Enemy models look great too. In another vid, they definitely show off how they managed to actually use good normal mapping on the models. Impressive for a Wii title.
The environments are bland though. They look decent, but there needs to be more. Improve the lights with some bloom, maybe add more dynamic and stronger light maps. They don’t have to try and do some per-pixel shading or anything, but the world is boring. Spruce it up. The game is running at a smooth 60FPS, they can do a bit extra I’m sure.
Otherwise, I’m excited. Sure, it looks like a usual first person shooter, maybe a bit above average if you ask me. Controls look great and the customization makes me happy. Adjusting the aim box is a cool feature. Online would be good here, potential for arena style gameplay similar to Quake or Unreal Tournament.
But, looks better than Galaxy? Eh, considering this is a realistic game pulling off good realistic visuals on Wii and Galaxy had little actual detail to it because of its cartoony style, I’d say that’s debatable. Really, Galaxy was hit and miss. Some things looked amazing, others were underwhelming. But its really easy to make Mario games look good, and the style helps a lot.

Sorry for the darkness guys, none of my images were wroking correctly. Yep, the environments do lack detail but I’m sure they’ll add them in sometime or later. When they get a publisher (hopefully Ninty) and not some other company, I’ll get hyped for this game. As of right now it just sorta looks meh, like any other shooter.

That youtube video didn’t do the game’s graphics justice. The IGN videos are much better. And anyway, the game is looking a helluva lot better than the first screens and videos of the game.
I pretty much take back what I said about the environments, they’re pretty good. Still, they lack the luster of the object models, which are superb. IGN themselves said that those who glanced at the game while passing by thought it was a 360 game. With controls being probably the best so far on Wii, the immense customization, the powerful graphics engine, and even the robust online with voice chat (FINALLY!), this game will hopefully be the definitive Wii hardcore game.
The gameplay seems pretty much like Halo or Call of Duty, more Halo really. Its nothing special, but it should be good. I think the multiplayer will take the cake here though.
