Its true, yes, its delayed cuz it was what some would call “fan made” so its not perfect. But a friend of mine showed me a similar model he himself is working on, and it worked, so this is very possible.
It’s Alive, It’s Alive: the THREESIXTYAXIS Controller
Following last week’s story about the Wiimote killer controller that Sony is developing, today we have another original controller that could easily be called the Frankenstein.
Modder for hire Ben Heckendorn has once again created an original piece of hardware. A customer requested a mod that will put a PlayStation 3 SIXAXIS controller inside the shell of an Xbox 360 controller, with the benefit of getting the two thumbsticks using the superior Xbox 360 layout.
Ben has agreed to do the job and after completing work on the first of the two THREESIXTYASIS controller he was hired to create, he has unveiled the first images of this nice monstrosity.
If you are a die hard fan of either the Xbox or the PlayStation, you may find the following images quite disturbing.
Personally I don’t like it because I’ve always like the Playstation layout more then the 360 layout, but I do indeed think it’s freaking awesome that somebody has done this, I wonder if they could do the same but reverse? *thinks*
