haha sweet. what did they do exactly? give it decreasing damage over distance? cause originally it did 35 damage per pellet at any point within its range before it went to 0

Im not sure yet, i still havnt gotten another copy, there was no reason until the patched everything.

I hope they kill the power and range too much, a shotgun should be a one hit kill for a good 20 yards.

But then again its Call of Duty, god forbid it was at all realistic.

ALready know abut this, same changes they made to the PS3 and PC..

IW’s forums noted IW hinted at it before hand..lol, i put that in the nuke guide at that time

shotguns shouldn’t be realistic with the ranges this game has.

it they were, the AA-12 would be the ultimate weapon in the game. 1 hit kill across a map.

the range is really really short now lol. at least with akimbo. hopefully they left single 1887s the same. i didnt test it though.

True, a friend said described the Models like this: “Imagine if you could put a silencer on the Models, except they’re not silent; the power and range suck really bad, its funny watching people when it takes four shots to kill at close range, basically unless you have FMJ and Stopping power yo need to put at least two shots into someone.“

Well in online gaming terms pretty sure it means to make it less effective and obviously not as widely used because of that. Guess because Nerf toys are like the real thing except not as damaging haha.

Which is good. The Akimbo shotguns should definitely be strong up close but at distances was just silly.

but the guns

....SURE, the Akimbo 1887 Model Shotguns Were patched

However, the Full MEtal Jacketed Akimbo 1887’s- were Not. In fact, there’s a small, but good possibilitity that not only is the range unchanged, but NOW with FMJ , it may be extended a short bit.

lol, the update ...didn’t cover everything, but it’s due to how the attachment system works in the game.

im sure it affects it if it uses akimbo at all. im sure they wouldn’t overlook something that obvious. well, maybe.
