Because the tech now cost well over $200 to produce. Not to mention, their tech they showed wasn’t necessarily ready to be released. Milo demonstration wasn’t even live and real... merely scripted.

Seems pretty useless. Doubt it will make it any further than a gimmick.
I mean it can be used for some things, but without a medium connecting you physically (controller, wiimote, sony’s wand, etc) it just doesn’t feel that immersive. You actually feel less immersed in the game because you are quite aware you aren’t in it and nothing physically to connect ya.
NATAL is pretty much virtual reality without the virtual part. Meaning just the fat American standing in front of a camera noticing how fat he is trying to play games that require movement.
I really do hope they take more of Sony’s route... or Ninty’s route (both produce the same output just different ways of getting there) instead of just this. I mean it’ll be good for a few things... but most it just won’t work.
Personally I hope what all this motion sensing leads too is something like wiimote with WM+ or Sony’s wand and combine it with virtual reality. That would be the ultimate experience.
