Haku he gets half a metre towards the mirror and suddenly all the clones are down. I see ten clones. Which means 5m from one mirror to another for each clone. Haku travelled around 50m in a second(just look at the water). So his speed there is around (really rough again) 1000m/s give or take 500m/s. Faster than sound.

that sounds like assumptions to me.

Unless you think artists think about physics when they are drawing cartoons for teenagers.

Everyone knows that all manga artists are physics majors. They put these things in there for people to argue with online in vs forums.

Of course they do!
They fully expect us to be comparing Haku to Byakuya!
God. When you put it that way, arguing this shit just seems so retarded.

It is not at all thats just artist’s style
How is a technique artists style, would you mind explaining that?
Speed can be roughly tiered across verses
But it’s redundant when speed is also factored by plot and stylistic choices. The character will be as fast as he has to be for the plot to move.
Hence Sasuke escaping Deidara etc etc.
That would make sense if it wasn’t done over and over.
Flash step has been used multiple times, and it always works the same way.
And not to mention that it is a technique. There’s little difference between it and the Instant Transmission from DBZ. They’re stated to be instantaneous movement.
So is the Instant Transmission also artists style?
IT is not speed.
Actually teleportation can be considered a type of speed. By defenition, speed is the rate of change between point a to point b. Teleportation is an instaneious movement, or in the case of rate of change, it would be an instant rate of change. Infinite rate of change basically. The moment you leave is the moment you moment you arrive.
Which is what the Flash Step is. Except it’s not teleportation because they take a step.
