Has anyone read the twilight series?

Everyone seems to be hyped up about the books and movie, so I thought I might get the first book and see what everyone is so crazy over. Is it worth it, or just a waste of time?

Don’t.It is just a chick flick.Find a good violent gory action book like this.

Or if you like plot and smart characters:

*shrugs* read it. its an easy read, and you should know for yourself if you like it or not.

i didnt think it was too bad... just the way it was written was kinda childish if you ask me... the plot is where its at in my head though, and i thought the plot was pretty good... only read the first one though...

and the movie wasnt all that bad..

I admit, it was greatly written.
But it was a good read! =D

Although it is more of a chick thing it does have some good storylines underneath it all.

And the author is quite creative with adding a different set of vampires to the many myths. She also wrote The Host which was an even better book and a great storyline!

I really enjoyed the twilight series and am reading it through for a second time. Must be the romantic in me lol. I have just purchased the host and will be reading it after I’ve finished the other books. I have heard that it is slow to start but that the ending is worth the wait.

Ummmmm, no.

I was talking about the Host for the ending being worth the wait. I like Twilight but do think that the end could have been a little more creative. It was too predictible.

Once they act like the Vampires from Blade I’ll read it.
