Either in their own franchise or in some imaginary world you made for them because I often wish characters to be a little more “true” to their name sake or something else.
My examples are The Flash and Superman.
For the Flash I wish he was the fastest man alive even when he gets shot into the speed force he gets out run by teleportation and Superman which in my view doesn’t make sense his power source is the speed force. So when I draw him I make him a little bio where he’s godly fast and make his personality a little ADHD just a little and the speed force just a term for faster then light.
I’m still working on it it seems little “Not interesting enough”.
Superman I want him to be a the opposite of Batman by that I mean where Batman is Bruise Wayne’s true self, Clark Kent Is superman and a little more shocked then amazed when his powers manifest. Also I want him to be a little internally depressive just because I want him to be hurt by something other then kryptonite I’m not talking “emo” but more like he realizes that all his friends and family will die and that he is practically an immortal god. So in essence I want his fear of others death to be his fuel for his heroics “I’m bullet proof your not” thing going.
Again a little blurry on what I want.
Also I’m doing this because I want to be a comic book writer/illustrator one day.

I like Superman portrayed as faster than aa bullet, more powerful than trains, and able to leap realy high. None of this ghey star explosion shit.
I dont like when he has all these over ridiculous powers and thats pretty much all he is, a ridiculous collection of powers. I liked the old classic Superman.
Orion & the New Gods: I’d make them represent ideals, like how Darkseid=The God of Evil in Final Crisis. Orion, I would want them to play up the whole loose cannon side of him, kinda like the Hulk when he goes into his rage, but a bit more controlled. His astro-harness should be trimmed down, maybe give him a pair of gaunlets and some kind of back pack thing. All the New Gods of New Genesis should be radiating light like Metron, while the New Gods of Apokalips should have a dark or flaming aura.
