I have read a book from a Woman’s point of view and it was a Mystery Novel(Woman’s Murder Club, very good series to),the main character was into romance but,not to much to think about him every second in the book. There must be a limit to romance in a book.

easy to pick up, yes. good? arguable.

either way, it has a lot more depth then twilight, and thats what sets it apart. twilight is pretty 2-d.

Bad thing is it’s not getting the people who did not like books, into books.Because that’s the only book they are ever going to read,it’s not expanding the different kind of books out there to them.

What I read of Twilight was not well written. It was very flat and plain.

No, I didn’t read from the beginning. I flipped to random parts to see if it was the same throughout.

it IS a chick book. there is no getting around that. you should know that coming in. aside from that, the characters have virtually no depth (at least that is evident in the first book), and some of their actions are pretty retarded. i genuinely don’t like the main character, but that may be just me. its just that she is kind of a bitch, imho. but, most girls relate to her for whatever reason, so know her. haha also, she is very obsessed, and it does get kinda creepy. i see where pattinson is coming from there.

aside from that, its a well written book. its easy to pick up, which is why its become so big. its easy to read through, and its an ok job of writing. its very simple, but hell, so is harry potter. in fact, as far as literature goes, i’d rank it near harry potter. so, its not a terrible book. try to enjoy it, as much as possible.

so, thats my opinion on the first book. i’ve yet to see the movie, but from what i’ve heard, its just fundamentally bad. btw, i read the book for the same reasons as you, just with a different mindset. haha

I’m going to translate that for you

Twilight it’s for stupid women

...yeah, cuz THATS the best way to read a book.

and, thats true. people read just it, and no other books. but, thats the result of a stupid generation...

I was referring to her writing ability. She writes very flat, little visual detail. I usually forget I’m reading and start seeing it in my head. This didn’t happen with Twilight. My problem is with her writing. She’s NOT “the best author evar”. They aren’t “the best books evar”. They couldn’t have been more bland.

And I did it that way to make sure it wasn’t just that bit that was like that. I didn’t flip anywhere in the book that wasn’t like that.

it will, and it is. this movie is causing MUCH less buzz then the last one. i’d say, they have one more movie in them, AT MOST.
