Well I always figure there’s no one to have a serious discussion of literature with.
For example, if I go all university style and start talking about Foucault’s analysis of Jeremy Bentham’s Panopticon and how it relates to Joseph Conrad’s “Heart of Darkness”....
I think I’d lose my audience pretty quick .

Ya..I’m sure there’s lots of people you think I’m rather book-learned, but you still lost me
I know Foucault (and by “know” I mean we’ve gone over some of his stuff in a few of my classes and I don’t remember any of it anymore) but that’s about it
