I need to know, about how many words does a 200 page book have?
I’m trying to get an idea on how far along i am on my book.

So far I have, Introduction, Prologue, Chapter 1, The second to last chapter, and the Final chapter finished. I have a lot to come, just want an Idea of how much I should have when finished.

Depends on the text size.

For a regular-sized novel, it should be about 100,000 words total.

Take average number of words in line.

Take number of lines.

Multiply average number of words per line times number of lines times number of pages. Didn’t you remember anything from pre-algebra??!?

Actually, I did not quite think his saying of 100,000 words to be right, so I dug a little and found that the best way is to take the average number of words on a standard book page, which is 250, and multiply it by the number of pages you want.
