anyway
currently
i am writing a song
about half way through with it right now...
think ill put of working on my novel until summer
only 40 days away
catch up on some reading and stuff in those 40 days
and i really should catch up on some gaming
havent played games in about a month now...
to me
writing
and reading
and music
are an escape from my misery
no matter how brief...
but they also make me want...
they make me jealous of those who have found love
that has also found them...
so in a way
it cures me from my sorrow
but also feeds it...

Hey Az, I can make rhymes (not limmericks) for my Mom and Dad and others, is that considered poetry? They’re longer than a limmerick.
as long as they have meaning
they dont have to rhyme
but that helps
use metaphors and simlies and stuff too
personification
anything that sounds entrancing really.
I guess you’re mad at me Az (well deserved), but I wrote my poem and put it on the Deep Poems thread for you to see, but you’ve made no comment, either good or bad. I’ll always be sorry.
