New York
The chilly morning breeze winded Shino awake. It was with little trepidation that he forced himself to stay awake, having been on the lookout for many hours. He hadn’t moved at all since and felt the urge to stand up and stretch. Shino wanted to sleep. His bugs seems to agree, silently urging him to do so.
Anyone who glanced his way, they would have noticed nothing in particular, just a teenager hanging out on one of the park benches. Although a little peculiar as he was covered in two over sized overcoats from head to toe, leaving only his eyes for people to see. And even that was covered by sunglasses. But people walked unhindered with haste.
Shino perked a little, watching the form of a particular teenager coming his way. It was a face he knew quite well. A long time friend and ally, a comrade in arms forged through countless battles eased his tense shoulders.
The teenager in particular sat next to him as one would next to a stranger. Shikamaru didn’t acknowledge his presence and neither did Shino, content with the morning air.
“How goes things?” Shikamaru decided to break the silence. It has been many months since Shikamaru and his friends and allies set up a suitable base, far away from the eyes of any civilian eyes and or otherwise. And many more months since they adapted to this world, gaining materials, knowledge and currency to fortify there base.
“It goes well,” He was never much for words, thought Shikamaru. Since arriving here on this alien world by some unknown circumstances, everyone was forced to adapt and survive. And boy did he learn. From Advanced technology, Mutants and aliens and racism on a global scale were some of the problems this world had to face.
How they kept this society together without falling apart was baffling. And the recent M-Day was pandemic. “All the teams are on standby. They just have to wait for your orders." The other boy only nodded slightly. It’s a good thing Shinobis weren’t mutants, otherwise there powers would have been stripped away causing mass panic.
They had no way of going back to their previous lives though. Friends and families were nothing more than memories. It was a depressing thought but they are Shinobi for a reason. They adapt.
“Here is your first mission,” Shikamaru handed him a memory disk, specific orders and objectives that needed to be completed. “You are to make first contact with this so called Wolverine and his team. Forge allies if at all possible. My sources say he would be raiding several of these bases to gather information about there captured friend. You are to get there before him and eliminate everything living on these specific locations. Leave some alive for interrogations."
Shino pocketed this important item, carefully concealed within the layers of his jacket. “Does he know of our existence?”
“No,” The dark haired boy sighed, leaned back against the seat and watched the puffy white clouds with his hands behind his head, an illusion of a laid back college student. “This is our first contact.”
Shikamaru felt the weight of the bench ease, leaving the once occupied seat next to him empty. “I wonder what Ino is doing…” He missed his world, his friends and family and the clean air especially. His last thought before drifting off into the land of dreams was of a certain girl back in Konoho.

“What the hell…” wolverine stared disbelievingly, his jaw wide open. Warpath and X-23 were equally baffled. The last several days, the team known as X-Force raided several Purifier bases with vengeance on their mind, trying to find the whereabouts of Rahne.
And each led to another base and another. And when they arrived at the heavily guarded base which had the information they were looking for, it was not what they expected to see.
What they found were nothing but dead corpses of the Purifiers, lights dimmed from power outage made the scene look much more horrifying. There was not much blood but it was nothing but a sea of corpses.
Warpath bent over, overlooking some of the bodies.
“The killing was too clean and each strike was accurate. It was done by professionals."
From what they can figure out, many died painlessly while some died screaming. Some were cut in half, possibly by a large sword and others died from with knives embedded to the back of there head. He even found some water, as if they were drowned. But many more bodies looked like they were eaten alive from the inside out.
And after looking over through the sea of the dead, there only found one alive. However he wasn’t much of a threat, convulsing with fear with incoherent mumblings. He has gone insane, drowning in his own pool of misery.
Wolverine couldn’t fathom what could have done this. It was unmistakably mutants though.
“What the hell is going on here?” Warpath, to some uncertain degree felt pleased with the way some of them died. He didn’t know if he should be happy or saddened by this alien feeling, this carnage before him. Though one thing he did understand, these Purifiers deserved what they got.
“These guys were done in by professionals. Damn good professionals,” Wolverine answered.
“There sent is vague but there were four of them.” X-23 stated.
“You think we can get information from this guy?” Warpath looked towards the last remaining Purifier with murder in his eyes.
“Nah, he’s too far gone. The guy is too spooked. Whoever did this, they knew we were coming. And there probably still here,” Claws popped open instantly, turning to face the newcomers with narrowed eyes.
Warpath and X-23 were instantly ready to face whatever that was behind them.
“Ha! I told you he wasn’t that bad!” One of the darker shadows replied, sitting on top of the crates with not a care in the world.
“We are here for a mission, Omoi. Behave,” Wolverine noted another voice, coming from the ceiling, covered by darkness. He also caught sight of two other forms hidden behind the walls.
“Yea, yea…has he turned on the power yet?” The deep baritone voice stated with irritation.
“Better start talking, bub.” Wolverine exclaimed with dark fury. “Or heads are gonna’ start rolling.”
Warpath and X-23 each covered their backs, looking at the shadowy forms of the would-be killers with deadly intent. Suddenly the power came back on.
What they were expecting, was not what they expected at all. The X-Force couldn’t believe it. There they were, kids who looked to be about the same age as X-23. And that was saying something considering.
“Yo! The name is Omoi,” He replied with a smirk, sucking on his lollipop. “We come in peace. Glad you guys finally came though. I was starting to get really bored.”
Shino landed on the floor, not a whisper was made from the landing, his hands still in his overcoat pockets. Warpath was impressed. X-23 narrowed her eyes, looking disapprovingly when Wolverine relaxed.
“Didn’t know Spider-Man had a kid.” Wolverine replied with a smirk, his claws retracted.
“Who the hell is a spider-man…?” Suigetsu sneered, revealing his impossibly sharp teeth and an equally impossibly large sword.
“Yosh! The passion of youth continues onward!” Rock Lee grinned; his skintight spandex and bowl cut hair style reflecting his personality. “Ah, you must be Wolverine, Warpath and X-23. I am the green beast, the famed Rock Lee!”
X-23 looked like she wanted to gut something. Warpath looked embarrassed.
“You gotta be shitting me." Wolverine’s eyes twitched.
(New X-Men comics would be starring in this as well. This begins when the new Xavier institute was built and the first day of Academy starts with new students. Wrote this 4 in the morning because i couldn’t sleep lol now i’m off to sleep!)
Chapter 2.
Location:
San Francisco
There are times when he smiled a true genuine smile. But they were so rare that it was only held for the more important people in his lives. Namely the typical blond haired Shinobi he considers a friend. But that was in the past. But now, rarely does he smile that true smile.
He could feel his alien smile, almost perfect in form and giving just the right impression of a friendly stranger, with just a slight smirk of seduction. The owner of the coffee shop took this as a positive sign and beamed at him, handing him the cup of hot coffee. Luna was her name, when he glanced at her name tag.
She had near perfect symmetrical shape many would conclude attractive and brown eyes that perfectly matched her frame. She also had a slim figure many found, as they say, ‘hot’. This was further strengthened when he noticed many of the discreet looks she was getting from the men.
She was in her mid twenties, a pretty woman that owned this coffee shop and works late nights. Because she looks after this store, she rarely has any time for herself. From the tired eyes to the slight overdose of make up to hide her weariness, she kept hard to keep up the hidden facade. Just for the sake of keeping her business.
But more importantly, she hires one of the students as part time from the newly rebuilt headquarters for the X-Men. Just located in Marin Headlands, north of San Francisco, 'Graymalkin Industries' is there new home. The one he was supposed to watch over is Noriko Ashida. She has the powers to absorb electricity, which can be discharged for bursts of speed. Interestingly enough, the Asian girl with metallic gantlets was working next to Luna.
“You’re cute. Wanna’ fuck?” The entire store stopped in a flurry of activity, frozen. Sai knew he said something wrong when he noticed the sudden shocked expression of the Luna. Sai noticed she displayed confusion then suddenly turned into fury incarnate. Or at least that’s how he imagined she would be like in the next two seconds, as most of the female ninjas back in Konoho.
Luna sputtered, blushing so hard her face turned as read as a tomato. Noriko on the other hand had the look of murder in her eyes. Sai noticed this and turned to her, perfect smile never faltering.
“You’re cute too, though your chest should be a little bigger. But you can join us anyway.” Sai heard someone almost chock on their coffee, accidentally drinking more then he should as the hot liquid burned his throat.
“Y-you bastar…” The Asian girl barely chocked out the word, her gantlet arcing in electricity from her fury. Because of her uncontrollable powers that, like all mutants, are tied to ones emotions let out an electric shock that suddenly sucked up all the power from the coffee shop, plunging the store to darkness in the dead of night.
With the power outage suddenly gone, backup generators came to life within a few seconds and lit up the store once more.
Noriko, who clearly had murder in her eyes, noticed the sudden empty space that used to be occupied. Luna was still red.
Sai was long gone, leaving the screaming of bloody murder behind.

It was the next morning that Sai met a native Indian woman in the front gates of the new headquarters with a strained smile. Sai returned the picture perfect smile as he paid the cab fair and took out his luggage. She was a troubled woman, Sai noticed. She was emotionally damaged and she’s scared, hidden by a false bravado. He doesn’t blame her. There institute was once again destroyed during the Messiah war, killing hundreds of students. All the mutants were forced relocate under under a safe location.
“Ah, Mr. Sai, welcome. My name is Danielle Moonstar,” She replied as she stuck out her hands. Sai extended the courtesy and gave her his perfect smile, the smile that all ladies seems to love. “I hope you are ready for the first day in your new job.”
“Of course, as always Ms. Moonstone,” Sai replied, keeping it simple and straight forward.
Before she could meet him in the office, she gave him the key and gave him the directions to his new room.
“You must be tired so you can have the rest of the day off,” She smiled and continued, “You can come by my office to finalize the last minute details and then i can point you to the classroom.”
Ms. Moonstone gave him a small tour on the way and chatted about the students of the school. Sai tuned her out, accessing the environment around him and memorizing each face of the students that passed him by.
“Can I ask you something personal Mr. Sai?” Moonstone suddenly asked.
“Of course, anything,” Sai replied with a smile.
“What are your mutant powers?”
“Oh, I thought you knew,” He asked, tilting his head in question.
“Only Scott knows since he mentioned about you, “ She shrugged, “We usually find out the hard way.” She gave an amused chuckle, forcing Sai to join in.
“I can make drawings come to life.” Sai answered.
“Oh, really!” She exclaimed, grinning in wonder. She would have gone further but she was suddenly interrupted by a loud gasp.
“It’s you!” She gasped vehemently. “What are you doing here?!”
Sai turned around to face Noriko with a smile.
Noriko’s eyes were wide open, shock and despair creeping into her heart.
“Noriko! Well this is a surprise. I didn’t know you knew him. It’s perfect then. You and David would should give Mr. Sai a tour of the place,” Moonstone stated, completing missing the obvious hate Noriko had for him. David Allyene, codenamed Prodigy was puzzled at the sudden reaction his friend caused and glanced back at this pale figure, “You should meet your new physics teacher.”

“What the fuck is going on here!” Wolverine’s curiosity was piqued. There were only two hundred mutants left on this world and the X-Men ran a complete tab over everyone one of them on a regular basis. But these strangers, who clearly had mutant powers, were able to completely avoid the detection of Cerebra left quite an impression on Wolverine. Were there more mutants? He processed this thought later when he had the chance to question him later.
Shino tossed Wolverine a memory card, which he caught swiftly. “That holds the co-ordinates to the location of your friend,” He smiled, though Wolverine couldn’t see, he could practically feel it. “This base is cleaned up and several other Purifier bases have been cleaned as well.”
“How did you know we were looking for our friend?" He asked, with a little more force than necessary. He wasn’t fooled. These guys were new players in this world and what their objectives were clearly unknown. Wolverine wouldn’t bother asking as to why he should trust him. It would be another stupid question and no Purifiers would sacrifice their own numbers only to send the X-Force into a trap.
“You make too much noise. We acted and decided to 'help' you." Suigetsu put as much emphasis of the word help as he can, glaring at Wolverine with obvious mistrust.
“He’s not lying. He’s telling the truth” X-23 stated, far more suspicious of them now than ever, still confused at the predicament they found themselves in.
“Ooh, you got skills girl. Say, you a want to go out on a date?” Omoi asked, a little hopeful at the thought. X-23 gave a dark frown.
“Shut the fuck up, ya’ pansy.” Suigetsu growled.
“Fuck off penis head!” He angrily retorted.
“The hell did you say…”
Shino ignored them in favor of watching the X-Force closely. Rock Lee on the other hand was slightly more serious then he normally was. “Think of this as an act of faith. We help you, you help us”
Wolverine ignored the banter and eyed the memory disk. “So you want a favor from us?”
“We want allies.”
“Listen Bub…” He was cut off when Shino spoke once again.
“If you wish, I can give you the information that would lead you to Rismen,” Warpath and X-23 suddenly perked up, now more than a little interested. Finding Rismen, the leader of these mutant hating cults was far too illusive. Even S.H.I.E.L.D couldn’t pick find any traces of him.
To suddenly be given information from a group of unknowns about his whereabouts, from kids no less, was disconcerting to say the least. But the members of the X-Force knew this; they were a group of professional killers. That much was clear. But what made them even more dangerous is the fact that they know next to nothing about them and what side they are going to take in the grand scheme of things. “The information is already in there.”
“And if this is a trap?” Warpath counted.
“It won’t be.” Shino added.
Wolverine would have said something, only to find nothing but air. One moment they were there, next there gone. It was as if they weren’t even there to begin win, leaving a dead end for their scents to follow. He growled in irritation and anger. Even the two white haired freaks were gone, thought Wolverine. Rock Lee, with all his colorful spandex was nothing but air when he turned to his direction.
“We should trust them. If it’s a trap, we’ll be ready.” Warpath added, feeling a little hopeful to find Rahne and get her back.
“It’s a trap.” X-23 warned. She was as perky as ever, Wolverine thought.
“Fine, we go. But the second we find out it’s a trap, we bug out," Wolverine warned, “No buts either."
