So is anyone else disappointed by the top 3 espada?

I was expecting big things of the 3 after seeing Ulquiorra. Instead i was let down. Shunsui is one of the strongest captains, so i understand him beating Stark, but i dont think the primera had anything to show for his rank. Neither did Halibel. Maybe Barragon, but i dont see why any of them were above ulquiorra.

Anyone else feel the same?

Im not too sure. They just didn’t show anything close to Ulquiorra power-wise. Barragon’s ability is the only reason i see him up there.

Then again, ulqiuorra did say that not even Aizen knew about his second release, and the fact that he had trouble controlling it suggests that he was indeed hiding it. I’m sure Aizen would have placed him higher if he knew about it.

Powerscaling yes they are stronger then Cifer.

They are put in their ranks for a reason.

Yeah, but aizen gives them their rank, and if its true that he didn’t know about Ulqiourra’s second release, that would explain why Ulqiourra was only number 4 for me.

I dont know. I guess i just had my expectations too high.

Cifer said that not even Aizen had seen him like this. That doesn’t equate that Aizen doesn’t know. Aizen seems to know everything

Yeah, i guess he does. I had my expectations way too high. Seeing how easily they all went down just makes you wonder how powerful the top captains really are. And im anxious too see what Aizen plans to do next.

Before I even read the comments im gonna say that just about everyone is dissapointed with the top 3 espada...

That is a word I don’t associate with the Espada. I went in without expectations. The captains are just stronger then people want to give credit for. That is about it.

The Espada were great... loved most of them... but why did the strongest one go down so slow?

Sure Starrk was killed by the 2nd strongest captian, but it was one of the weakest shinkai’s Ive ever seen >_> Im just saying they should have got more screentime... thats why Im dissapointed...

Thats why I like Akatsuki more than Espada aswell but thats based on opinion...

It was wielded by one of the strongest captains in SS. And Stark fought 3 other captain-class Shinigami beforehand, so he deserves some credit.
