The Book of Joby

i just started reading this book today... its so great...

its about how God and Lucifer get into a bet, and all of gods creations, minus Lucifer, are on the line. Lucifer wants god to create a perfect place this time, where there is no free will.
the wager is about if this child, joby, can believe in god, no matter what lucifer throws at him, for 30 or so years. he cannot get direct help from god, but if he asks, gods angels can help him...

Based of the Book of Job?

in ways. it has the same concept as the book of job. but it is full of twists and turns and what not...

as the back of the book says, Imagine Harry Potter meets King Arthur and they team up to fight Lucifer...

Sound’s like the storyline’s pretty good.How much pages is it? I don’t hardly read books under 200 pages.

Does it have killing and stuff in it or does the storyline make up for it. I haven’t been reading books like 600-700 pages lately that’s probably why I gave up on Brisingr.Ive been reading books with almost 500 pages.

its got a ton of deep story and when it does have fighting and what not it is very graphically described.

and if he were to have a ton of puppets
then hed just be kept company with himself

It never said that he was bored, people made up that explanation.
