The Prologue Of The Novel I Am Currently Writing

(This may not be a short story but it is the prologue of my book I am writing.)

Prehistoric Vengeance

There was blood all over the walls in the Iraqi houses. The soldiers were walking across the village noticing the slaughter. The solider known as Nick from America said “What happened here?" He shouted. The tall stern looking solider with piercing blue eyes that felt like every time he looked at somebody his eyes would turn into knives and stab them. His name was Alexander. He has held the from line on many battlefields and did not hesitate to kill. And four other soldiers who were a part of the squad. Chris the leader of the group said “Lets take refuge in the mall this creeps me out."

When the group entered the mall it was very hot and dark. The broken windows and the busted down doors made it seem like a cheap slasher movie. The windows and doors were stained with blood. “Hey!" nick called from inside a book store. “There is a survivor hear!But he is badly hurt and has one broken leg." The survivor looked close to dead to Alexander. Maybe I should put him out of his misery to end his suffering. Alexander thought. Chris came running to Nick who was holding the half-dead old man in his arms. “Sir” Chris said to him. “We need to know who did this." “Its not who did this but what did this." The man said. “What do you mean?“Said Chris full of curiosity. If “I told you. You would not even leave this place alive. There is coming an age where the human’s will be wiped out. That time is here. The war has only begun and you boys will be next." Alexander then said “What do you mean you idiot?!" His voice full of rage. “HA HA HA YOU CANT STOP THEM THEY ARE COMING TO RECLAIM THIS WORLD BECAUSE OF THE WRONGS THAT MANKIND HAVE WREAKED ON IT!" The man then died. Nick looked up. “What do you think he meant by 'them'? “I have know clue” Chris replied. Then all of a sudden a horrible shriek filled the air. “What was that” Nick quickly spun around and took out his gun. Nick looked at Chris. Nick’s face was full of terror. “Whats wrong Nickolas?" Chris asked. “Uh Chris do you know what that is?" He pointed at a chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Chris could not see a thing. But then it came into focus. There was a creature on it. It was standing in at least 7 feet tall. It also has a mean looking hooked toe on its foot that looked like a scimitar. Chris shouted “Everybody run!" All of the soldiers started running but one of them was to slow and the creature jumped from the chandelier and landed on the trooper.“I do not know what you are you ugly piece of crap." Alexander said “I will blow you into smithereens. Before he could draw his gun another creature jumped in a kangaroo styled kick and the creature’s toe landed in Alexander’s eye. He fell with a thud. Alexander has never been so scared. He was screaming his head off while the blood ran down his face where his right eye had been. Then the creature bended over and bit Alexander’s throat out to silence him. Nick was running when a reptile leaned out from an window and caught him by his throat. “HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!". The creatures then threw him to the ground and dug its scimitar like toe in Nick’s stomach and ripped out his kidney. It then started feeding on him.

Chris was running like mad hearing the screams of his comrade’s being murdered. Then a creature jumped in front of him. But Chris was to quick and shot the creature before it could get a scrape on him. Then from behind he was tackled by another one of the animals. It clawed him in the face a few times and bit his rib’s But Chris hit the animal with the butt of his gun. And got up. “Come on you piece of crap ill take you on." He then shot the animal in the head. He walked over to the body. “What the heck is this?" “It looks like a dinosau-." But Chris never got a opportunity to finish his sentence because on top of him was a creature he kicked it off of him and got up. and when he got up he was surrounded by tons of the reptiles and they all came in and hit him.Screaming filled the night. The Prehistoric War has begun.

Damn good book to me.I plan on writing a Mystery Novel or Detective Series what ever you want to call it.I bet mine will be better than yours bro.

I doubt it unless you can make a good villain like Kyle Craig or The Coffin Dancer combines with The Wolf.

its taken me forever to be where i’m at, i’m almost done typing up the second version (the first was only 45 pages so had to expand) but yeah, i want to rewrite it once more before i send it to publishers :P
