I’ve never read any of those, but 1984 is supposedly extremely good. My sister really enjoyed Twilight. My brother really enjoyed Hitch-hiker’s guide and I enjoy all King books.
I’d recommend some books, but I’d need to know your age. Most of the books I read probably aren’t for anyone under 16.
From what I have seen,Twilight has not made any kids read any books other than Twilight.I would suggest not reading Twilight, because it’s:
Romance,no action,no real vampires, and all it talks about MOSTLY is Edward Cullen and how he looks.I would suggest reading Pet Semetary over The Stand.
I would suggest replacing the Twilight Sga with the Meg series by Steve Alten(about a giant Meglodon shark but more action and cool characters a long with some science lessons, unlike Jaws).I got to page 100 of The Stand.I did not like it,but I have only read 3 book’s of King:
Cujo
Carrie
Pet Sematary
The first book Twilight was good but after that well it kinda went down hill. I wouldn’t really invest your self in the Twilight saga unless you like dissapointment.
Anything Stephen King writes is always impressive to me. The Twilight series is good for young teens that have a romantic side to them. I love the book series but if you see the movie you’ll never look at the books the same way but remember to never judge a book by the crappiness of its movie. I’ve read 1984 and its good but not something good enough that I’d read it again. I’ve herad of The hitch-hiker’s guide to the galaxy but I’ve never reaad it.
