If we go by that logic then you can assume:
Strong Vasto Lorde>Stronge Captain
And:
Strongest Vasto Lorde>Strongest Captain
And all of this is before they get Arrancanized which will make them alot more powerful than before and not to mention if they will have a Resurrection form which will once again greatly increase there power.
But thats only if we go by that.
Well what I remember him saying was that 10 could destroy the soul society, Aizen was doing pretty good by himself
If there as strong as the theory above they should not need 10 Vasto Lordes.
Maybe even less than half would be necessary.
Who knows, Hitsugaya was just giving his opinion on the subject. But there is something strange about Aizen almost off
