Probably because Soifon quickly chopped her hand off? o.o

If I recall correctly, bones take a lot longer than skin to decay via aging.

But the effect was still spreading up her arm disolving her clothing and the rest of the flesh on her arm even after she cut it off.

Because skin decays a lot faster. I’m pretty sure the bones take a lot longer than skin or clothes to dissolve into dust by Barragan’s powers. I’m pretty sure it would’ve dissolved all of Soifon’s skin and organs first before dissolving her skeleton.

Skin:Yes

Clothing: I’m sure.

Maybe his power of aging/decay would be symbolic and not really consistent is all cases with every kind of material.

Bone seems to be his limit.

Well it could also lend itself to the fact that hit the skin and sleeve and not the bone underneath. If Barragan can cause the roof of a building to rot away by merely stepping on it, simply assuming that Respira dosen’t affect bone is illogical. Bones are far more susceptible to rot and decay then the roof of a building.

Bone was within the attack.

Or maybe his power of aging/decay would be symbolic and not really consistent is all cases with every kind of material. Like I’ve already stated.

Well maybe it’s just your blatant hatred for BLEACH that is making you come up with any reason to bash it.

Respira only touched Soifon’s arm and cloths. She pulled away after that.

Like stated Metal > Bone in terms of age related durability
