Wich is better eragon or harry potter?

i think eragon is better cause its with more violence.And dont get me wrong ive read all 7 harry potter books they are my 3rd favorite sereis.but eragon is over all better

Eragon was a horrid book. There were so many things wrong with it, I can’t even begin to explain..

For one, a 15 yr old wrote it, and I was 15 when I read it. It was CLEARLY written by a child. So many problems, no detail, no creativity.. It was basically a bunch of books crammed together. Come on, dude.. Write an original, it’s exactly the same as all the other mainstream Fantasy out there.

Harry Potter was good as a child fantasy story.. When I was younger I loved it.. Now, though.. My taste has changed a bit.. I no longer crave a simple plot that always turns out the same in every book. I don’t like predictable. and I DEFIANTLY don’t like writing for money. Which is EXACTLY what JKR did after the 4th book. =/

A friend of mine reads Eragon and Eldest almost every week. He says its an awesome book with “inspring originalitÿ" I havnt read the book but I did saw the movie, and I can easily depict who was Luke Skywalker and Obi Wan. Plus the final battle sucked >.<

You are all to true with Eragon... but you forgot to mention that it was BORING!!!! I honestly fell asleep in the first 10 pages... the only reason people liked it was that there was a lot of hype, and that a 15 year old wrote a book! ooooh... look at me... i’m 15 and i can write a crappy book! yay!!! whatever, i even liked harry potter better than that... and i’m not a huge fan... i really only liked the last book...
