Does Transformer movie suck?

Well... how should I start....
Back in day, it seemed people enjoyed the movie done by Michael Bay.
Now? People treat those who enjoyed the movie like people who don’t know what good movies are like. I have been in other movie sites. People were saying Transformer movie sucked.
I was kinda afraid of expressing my opinion there, because I would get flamed for it.
What do you guys think? Even old Transformer fans think the movie sucked....

Dunno what your talking about Franky, the first Bay Transformers movie broke all kinds of records. It was an excellent movie although it didn’t focus on the formers as much as I would have liked it was still an excellent movie.

it was actually really good, and i give props for the special effects guy and cgi guy who had to make every nut and bolt in the transformers, it must have been a grueling task. Uhm... now with transformers 2, the movie so far looks action packed... and thats all lol. When i saw the movie all i saw was BOOM A CARRIER EXPLODES, BOOM THE PYRAMIDs etc etc. Now story.

Music and the environment stimulate the same part of the mind.

It was ok/good. Hopefully the sequel fixes the problems by focusing more on the Transformers and less on the humans.

The focus in the first film wasn’t a real problem. Actually from what the commercials and teasers have shown, the first film has set the second film up nicely. In any retrospect though less then a month until Revenge

Isn’t Michael Bay one of the most hated directors out there? It is general consensus that Pearl Habor was bad....

It is probably some band wagon thing.

I liked it.

Some people just don’t understand the Golden Rule.

It was awesome.Now they need to make a Gundam movie...

I wouldn’t really know, since I fell asleep while watching it.

Go IMDB. You will get 90% flamed for saying Transformer movie is good.

I see this statement quite a lot in other sites.

Those are just showing surface. This is possibly the only place where people think the movie was good. Other places have totally opposite opinion...

Although I enjoyed the movie, I have to say some parts were really pointless.(Like soldier’s family part. Later, they don’t show this part at all. What’s point of showing the soldier and his wife? son?) And why didn’t Prime tell Sam to use the cube on Megatron? Sam somehow figured out way to destroy Megatron with cube. Kinda stupid.
Nevertheless, I just enjoyed it as pure action flick...
