maybe the book was but thanks to fox they fucked the move up big time and made it only 104 minutes long and it is rated PG.

I saw this film today it was good but the dark haired dude should have had a bigger part he was much more interesting (and better looking) than eragon...

The books were not bloody. I’ve read bloodier books. First King of Shannara the elven palace is attacked and the floors are covered in blood. The elf guy is slipping all over thanks to the bloody floors.

When the druid fortress is attacked the Warlock Lord rips out the head druid’s heart.

the movie is retarted all the violence in the book is cut out almost and also Durza has a dragon?The movie is just not good compared to the book.

I did like the movie, but they took out a big chunk of it, and it didn’t sell THAT much either.

The Dark haired guy is Murtagh. Funny thing is that when I read the part when Eragon met him, in my mind he had Solid Snakes voice.

The chunk they missed was the battle within the Beor moutains I think, that part in which Eragon destroyed the giant precious stone (the first time Saphira breathed fire). That is where Durza was killed by Eragon, not in that wierd village.
