Harry Potter is a good series, even if the movies are an abomination. It is better then Twilight, but that isn’t saying much.

JKR actually spent alot of time writing rules for this magic world she created. There are rules. You need to read it carefully to find them.

I love harry potter! it is really good. I get annoyed when people go on about how bad it is, when the haven’t even read the books at all, or they haven’t read them properly. Not that i’m saying you haven’t read it properly.

The ending was absolutely awful.

Harry Potter does not suck. It may not be along the taste of everyone but I guess I have to admit JKR has talent.

As for creativity, I think JKR is overrated. Most of her plots are not that interesting... Not to mention the tons of inspiration that she never acknowledged (Earthsea, Lord of the Rings to name a few).

I never really liked HP. Still, the series gained millions of fans. To say it sucks is just like saying one’s opinion (or few) is better than the millions. That’s just arrogance. If you don’t like it then don’t get involved with it. Let people enjoy what they want. It’s not as if your life will crumble if HP succeeded. As long as no one gets hurt then what’s the problem. Some people are too short-sighted.

I love Harry Potter they are my favorite series and they dont suck? and how is the ending awful? voldemort died because he wasnt the true master of the wand... it was harry because malfoy disarmed dumbledore and harry disarmed malfoy and so the wand instead of turning against its master, turned against the person trying to use it... and in the end ginny and harry marry and have kids and ron and hermione.... how does that ending suck? there is enough deaths and enough blood going around isnt that enough?

Overall there could not be so much hate on the Harry Potter series.Besides I owe it to Rowling for getting me into reading.Now I read so much that my teacher took my book today.
