Did SkyNet really have to be portrayed by Helena Bonham Carter? Why was SkyNet trying to convince it’s own creation to stay on it’s side?! Why did SkyNet reactivate the rogue sentinel in the first place? Why, out of an entire factory of T800s, did only ONE of them activate to fight off the Resistance threat? This movie was just one fail after another. This movie was nothing more than pretty and entertaining, but movie of the year?? Pfffft, try again buddy. Nowhere close.

I really enjoyed Terminator 1 and 2, specially 1, since the balance between action and story was just right. On 3, things went down-fucking-hill story-wise, and the action was wilder, in the bad sense. On 4, story was just fucking raped over mindless unexplainable explosive action. For a movie to be GOOD, the STORY HAS TO BE OBVIOUSLY PUT INTO ACCOUNT.
If you like mindless action films (IE Matrix Revolution), go right ahead. Enjoy. However, if you have ANY respect for Mr. Story, and would like a good balance of story and action (IE that movie where Liam Neeson go after some guy in Paris that kidnapped his daughter, really recent), then stay REALLY REALLY AWAY from this movie. Taken seemed A LOT more action based than story based.Most of the time non-stop action can be a bad thing.Crank and Taken being a good example.The action is usually badly done and you can’t see shit.But the only movie that has made non-stop action work was The Transporter 2.
