i could have seen that.
but i had to get my girlfriend and little brother in, and of the 3 i was the only one who was 17, and i dont think my girlfriend would have wanted to see it, so we went to 500 days of summer, which was great and funny.

What’s amazing about it? I’ve seen it and it’s good but it’s a little over hyped.
Yeah.I’ve heard it might get movie of the year to.But that be longs to either:
Terminator:Salvation
Gamer
Crank 2:High Voltage
This made me lawl... I haven’t seen Gamer or Crank 2, but I have seen all of the Terminators, inclusing Salvation... and Salvation was crap. I can’t decide if T3 was worse or as bad as T4... but point being, after T2 the series just became a cash cow, and it’s painfully obvious. Movie of the year?! please.. not even close.
We all walked out of the theater wondering why SkyNet got so dumbed down, why the knucklehead machine guards had no idea that they were being infiltrated by door hacking.. (in which the user literally types “HACK” into the little hacking device...), why did they perform OPEN HEART SURGERY outside in the middle of a dusty desert...unprotected and unsheltered?! Did SkyNet really have to be portrayed by Helena Bonham Carter? Why was SkyNet trying to convince it’s own creation to stay on it’s side?! Why did SkyNet reactivate the rogue sentinel in the first place? Why, out of an entire factory of T800s, did only ONE of them activate to fight off the Resistance threat? This movie was just one fail after another. This movie was nothing more than pretty and entertaining, but movie of the year?? Pfffft, try again buddy. Nowhere close.

I never went to theaters to see a comedy movie in my life.

I judge movie’s based off of how much action they have and how good the action is.And T4 delivered in both areas. That’s why I think it was awesome. My favorite of the Terminator series.T3 bring my 2nd favorite.

I have not seen Salvation(I plan to),and story is not the most important thing, that’s action.Anyways,I plan on watching The Matrix:Revolutions,Gundam said it was a damn good movie, better than the rest of the Trilogy.

I’m not saying to not see the movie, if you are a fan of the Terminator series, then see it. But someone who thinks it could possibly come anywhere close to movie of the year should have their opinions omitted and ignored.

This.
I really enjoyed Terminator 1 and 2, specially 1, since the balance between action and story was just right. On 3, things went down-fucking-hill story-wise, and the action was wilder, in the bad sense. On 4, story was just fucking raped over mindless unexplainable explosive action. For a movie to be GOOD, the STORY HAS TO BE OBVIOUSLY PUT INTO ACCOUNT.
If you like mindless action films (IE Matrix Revolution), go right ahead. Enjoy. However, if you have ANY respect for Mr. Story, and would like a good balance of story and action (IE that movie where Liam Neeson go after some guy in Paris that kidnapped his daughter, really recent), then stay REALLY REALLY AWAY from this movie. Gabmed has spoken.

Taken seemed A LOT more action based than story based. Most of the time non-stop action can be a bad thing.Crank and Taken being a good example. The action is usually badly done and you can’t see shit. But the only movie that has made non-stop action work was The Transporter 2.
