I see the movie tonight but note I was never a huge Simpsons fan, its not that I didn’t like it, I really did I just never seemed to catch it because South Park is my thing but even though I am not a huge Simpson fan will I still recognise a lot of the characters and be able to enjoy the movie because I do know quite a bit of characters......
it was a stupid movie, and if you laughed at the spider pig joke then you’re a fucking retard. If you wanted the pig to be funny, then they should of brought back the pig from the episode where homer goes back to college, that pig’s name is “Sir Oinks Alot” and it was alot funnier than the one in the movie, when Homer started pulling at his tail he turned around and bit him on the hand, The nerds then pin homer down before he tries to tackle the pig. You see THAT was funny, Spiderpig WAS NOT.
“The pig doesn’t look so good”
“Him and Mr. Homer split a casket of malt liqour”
“Guys he’s really sick”
*Pig Faints*
“Hello.. that sounds like a pig fainting”
The movie sucked ass the jokes looked like they were made by a 13 year old trying to be funny and the spider-pig song? wtf it looks like groening is running out of ideas
The Simpsons Movie was CRAP!! The only vaguely funny part was the spider pig thing which was ruined by the hundreds of adverts of it on tv. Storyline was terrible, the producers knew that the show was losing popularity so they had to make a movie. It was rushed, they did not think about it enough to make it funny. No one in the cinema laughed throughout the whole movie because it sucked so much. People complain about Family Guy copying Simpsons but to be honest, the Simpsons have used every idea there is because it has been on the air for so long, Family Guy is so much more funny.

I thought the movie was a big dissapointment, although that is what I expected, as the show has been running for 20 years. The Simpson’s team is running out of ideas. I hated that spider pig crap, and the plot had no effort put into it. The only thing I liked about the movie was the excellent animation, which has come a long way since the show first aired on 19th April, 1987. Feel free to protest about my comment, and for those of you who back up the film’s plot, I’m dissapointed that you can’t see the bigger picture the movie should have been. This film certainly doesn’t do credit to the 20 years that was spent making over 300, spectacularly crafted 20 minute episodes.
