I can tell you, right now, I’m shaking in my little inkblot boots. While I enjoyed 300 (in a fascistic ridiculous Venom pounding SPARTA!!! screaming way) I’m not too sure about Snyder’s chops. Plus Watchmen is a graphic novel, the WAY that the story is told is completely different from a conventional movie and that makes me nervous. But most of all what I’m scared of is the lack of Alan Moore input. Don’t get me wrong, I love Watchmen and would love to see it completely shatter all expectations. In fact the little fanboy in me is hoping it’ll revolutionise the way society nowadays regards comic books, as ridiculous childish action movie fodder. I want to be able to take a graphic novel with me everywhere I go and not have people make crass judgements on my level of maturity. So considering all this I have a right to be nervous. How about you guys?
