2pac vs Axl Rose

I don’t like comparing two artists from two different genres, it is like “What do you like best? Video games? Or Soda?" Just doesn’t really make sense.

It’s more like comparing and RPG to a FPS. Both are video games, though vastly different in play style, still similar enough for a honest comparison between two genres.

The problem is here, even though I enjoy rap, I do not find it as music, but as a form of poetry mainly. So to me, yes, they are completely different things. Rock is music, Rap is poetry.

I frankly do not see how it is music, the only aspect really involved that is musical is the rhythm and rhyme, but music is more than that. Rhythm and rhyme alone is a poetic aspect. That is why I view it as poetry mainly.
