ya mann it wouldn’t hurt to check em out....im not sure if you like indie punk or if your just a hardcore metal head \m/ (lol and thats ok to trust me) i unno i have always liked some indie punk and i just think billy talent has some really great songs. * This Is How It Goes,Fallen Leaves,Red Flag* are a couple of their good ones..atleast they are to me lol again you probably won’t like em to much

I’m not a massive Punk fan (I hate it, tbh), but I’ll check him out for the sake of it. Cheers for the heads up.

True that. He’s actually one of the most talented in the Nu-Metal scene, along with John Otto. Very, very solid and talented.

I know of them, but haven’t heard then or know what they’re about. Been looking for more industrial, I might check them out. Thanks for the heads up once again!

The drummer from Mudvayne? Thats almost as funny as the time you said Kurt Cobain was one of the best guitarists ever.

No offense.

lmao and no offence your the only one i know that would say Kurt Cobain isnt one of the greatest guitarists ever....ya people can say Nirvana was overrated all they want but people that actually know Cobains music respect him and know he is one of the best no question.

and hell yeah McDonough is my favorite drummer...(he wont be saying McDonough is the best or anyting ) but even DrumIntoTheNight i think knows that McDonough has some amazing talent...mudvayne wouldn’t be my favorite band if i didn’t think they were the best or one of the best at what they do.

Well I guess the drumming part is a matter of opinion, but even I can play some of Cobains songs, and I suck. Grunge really doesn’t take that much skill to play... sure some of Cobains songs have nice catchy tunes but that has nothing to do with his skill as a guitarist.

But whatever man, lol. Whatever you say.

Please don’t say the word Hardcore and Metal Head together in one sentence.

Hardcore = Emo wannabe metal.

Jon, you serious? Dude, early hardcore was instrumental in the development of thrash.

I’m talking about some of the shit i’ve seen recently.

Bullet For My Valentine or As I Lay Dying for example.

Any kind of “Core” band is just wannabe metal.

Dude I just listened to a TON of Technical Death Metal stuff, and I swear those drummers beat all three of Slipknots drummers put together by FAR.

Examples: Cryptopsy, Decapitated, Deicide, Vader, Belphegor, Nile, Krisiun, Skinless, etc.

Those bands have some awesome drumming. Check it out.

And its just plain not true. =/

Those bands I listed are proof.
