I find it wierd that you are complaining about Deicide being real extreme with their views (that really should not play part in whether or not the music is good) when you like Deathspell Omega who are pretty much on the same level. It kinda does not make sense to me, unles syou just plain dont like Deicide plain and simple.
I don’t normally listen to DSO tbh. Black metal is the kind of thing I can listen to once and appreciate, but I don’t listen to it any more after that because I don’t find it very fun to listen to.
But carving an inverted cross on your face and going around having pictures of jesus with a bullet hole in his head and making songs like “kill the christian” are not only fucking crazy, but just plain not cool. I also don’t like their music, mostly the vocals.
I realize that now I feel hypocritical for liking Anal Cunt, but their lyrics amuse me so whatever.

Yeah, if you just don’t like the music that is understandable. I personally enjoy the vocals, they have a fairly different sound from most death metal bands. I thought you really loved Deathspell Omega, btw. There was a period where you would not stop talking about them lol. As for me and black metal, I enjoy it a lot. It is not really my favorite genre, but I do enjoy it. It is just very atmospheric, and I enjoy that atmosphere.
And with their ideologies on killing Christians is their view, and they think they are right. There really is no such thing as right or wrong, it is subjective from person to person, and obviously, he really thinks he is right. Everyone’s mind is constructed differently. (I dont like his views either though, lol)
my favourite hmm too many to choose from... Nile, Psycroptic, Spawn of possession, Necrophagist,Decrepit Birth hehe i could go on for days... oh and Pitbulls in the Nursery, if anyone has heard of them... if not look them up
