Hiero, MC Hammer, Too $hort & Mac 10 is from Oakland... and yea, there’s a huge difference between LA & Oakland (not to mention the 500 mile gap)

This aint a fair comparison. There simply aint as many rappers out of LA as there are out of NYC. LA aint as big as NYC (population-wise) either; you’d have to combine LA, Oakland & SF to equal NYC. With that in mind, here’s some great rappers groups from LA:
