Rap vs. Classic Rock and Roll

I hate Rap it is the worst form of “music” ever convived by the incest sisters of hell anyone want to prove me wrong??

well rap is the highest selling and most popular music genra in the world right now so i think that proves you wrong even rock bands/pop singers ect are using rap to sell there albums besides that is just your opinion.

Just because Rap is popular dosent make it good Honesly can you tell me that in 20 years you’ll be able to hear Nelly, Xibit etc.....and their “Music” will still be listened to.


Hear we are 30 years after their pirme and we are still listening to bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles the list goes on and on. What I am tring t o say is that todays Rap artisists will never amount to those of Classic Rock and Roll

well rap has been around for 20 years and people still listen to funk master flash ect.but todays rappers are nothing compared to the old school rappers like the beastie boys ect.

oh and we can’t forget other pointless rap hits such as:

“Candy Shop” (yea 50, we know u get the girls and all that shit... get over yourself)

“Get Low” (yeah um... did u really need to make a song about the wild orgy u had last night... um, no)

First Let me tell you why I Hate Rap. It’s not becaues of its Explisit lyrics, Rock has that to. I’m a drummer ok And the most important thing in music is instrumentation I want to hear a gutiar, a bass, keyboards, drums, even the occaisional Sax, or Flute (Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull) you just dont get that in rap.

You are a drummer cool. I am to. I have been playing the drums for 8 years. I think it is the coolist. What style do you play. I play rock, swing, heavy metal, and alternitive. Rap does suck but it is changing the music industry like storm! Oh ya what kink of drums set do you have I have a TAMA swingstar with ZILDIAN china crash, ride, crash, and hihat. I always love meeting a fellow drummer!

for me, i like rap not because of the lyrics, but for the music itself. but the lyrics are still good. i hate classic rock. don’t ask why, i just do. i like some new rock like linkin park, sum 41 and billy talent. and system of a down. i think linkin park is the best band ever and it kicks rap’s ass.

Rock music is the best kind music out there how can you not like Led Zeppelin, Springsteen, ACDC, The Police, Styx, Bob Segar.

Rap is nothing more than a using lyrics about how to kill policemen, rape and degrade woman, drink liquor, and spend large amounts of money. Like that’s the fucking end of the world, to show off their huge cars and 250 dollar shoes. It’s pathetic. Music is supposed to have a purpose, a message, a reason. Rap is nothing more than noise.
