Who else here likes negative songs?

By that I mean songs that invoke emotions and feelings like anger, sadness, or emptiness. Or songs that are just flat out are meant to put someone down(yeah I know I’m such a nice guy) Songs such as Snow by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arms of Sorrow by Killswitch Engage, Echo by Gorilla Zoe, Beyond Recall by A Dark Halo, Hurt by Nine Inch Nails, So Cold by Breaking Benjamin, etc. Just songs that have a lot of negativity to the lyrics and or instruments.

Sure, but of course not only negative songs. I like music that can express the range of human experience/emotions.

Sometimes a “negative” song, as you put it, can be cathartic.

I like some like 45,by Shinedown,stresses real emotions.

I’ve become someone who can hear me say,become someone who can hear you.

I like Theory of A Deadman’s “I Hate My Life”......
