Besides, Lars is a douche and my sister bought Metallica’s black album (the whoa whoa album) - definite indications that Metallica totally sold out.

AC/DC beliefs on Rock never changed which is why they’ve been around for more than 25 years.

Metallica has become a band of drama queens - look at how Lars has conducted himself (did I mention that he is a douche?) and how Newsted was dumped.

Metallica acts like they were against the establishment in the '80s but joined it with their later albums. AC/DC was anti-establishment but notice that they didn’t change their beliefs - they kept writing and performing until the establishment grudgingly accepted them.

And Lars going after their hardcore fans for file sharing? - give me a break, that’s why you hire an attorney and not act like a rich baby trying to get richer. I quit buying their albums after Lars started whining.

If I want to feel like crap about the world I listen to Metallica. If I want to hear some clever lyrics, awesome guitar, and a driving rhythm I listen to AC/DC.

Both bands have “matured” after they got off the streets and into mansions. I just feel that it took AC/DC longer to get off the streets so their work is better being that they stayed hungry for that much longer.

Metallica is great but AC/DC is greater - all day, every day.
