What if you were raped at the age of only 14 would you really want to keep your rapists child and in doing so destroy the rest of your life because you have to quit school and look after the baby?

An abortion is an extremely painful process which no-one can undertake lightly, there is a high risk of permanent damage to the women’s womb making it unlikely she’ll be able to have kids in the future. It sounds to me like that individual would have to suffer a lot just so she can have a normal life, so don’t think like it’s some kind of easy decision and that there using it as a way of contaception.

Until you’ve been in that situation you can’t go around calling other people careless and selfish.

Abortion is the stupidest thing anyone could ever do. If you dont want your baby at least give it up for abortion or something.Abortion should be illegal cause they put people behined bars for murder but not for having a abortion or 2.

I don’t think abortion is wrong, I think that it’s sad that there are now more women than ever having abortions but I don’t think it’s wrong. It’s the womens choice and it’s not murder as the baby isn’t even a baby until 24 weeks into pregnancy which is the point where you can’t have an abortion.

Okay, the reason that most of you think that it’s wrong is because it’s a person we’re dealing with here. First of all, Babies have no knowledge, especially when they are that premature. They have no idea they exist and thus it’s not like it is for you and I. It’s not a terrifying experience and it’s not really bad. Plus what kind of a world is it for a kid who won’t be taken care of anyway? True, it should be and is the womans choice BUT, they should only keep the kid if they are going to take their time to make the kid have a happy life. This is really only a big debate because people don’t understand things like overpopulation, child abuse, rape and so on.
